Everything tasted good and the pricing was reasonable. The service was quick, and the waitress was friendly.

Fresh, flavorful, delicious food!
It’s a bit unassuming from the outside. But don’t pass it by! The owner was so friendly and hospitable. The food is seriously amazing. So good. I cant emphasize enough how incredible the food was. I got the chicken curry. Huge moist chunks of chicken, fresh potatoes and carrots. The brothy part was amazing. Generous portions.
Our family of 4 each had something different and we all wanted to share bites bc it was so tasty. We also got the assorted appetizer and it came loaded with yummy items too.
They have a safe-for-work karaoke party room that families with teens can enjoy too. The owner happily invited us to see it. They don’t serve hard drinks so it’s not a bar and my teens said it looked like fun.

I have eaten Vietnamese food regularly for over 50 years at everything from chain restaurants to mom & pop shops so I know what to expect. I got nothing that I expected today. I’ve eaten here twice in the last few days. The banh mi that I had for lunch was pretty good (the reason for 2 stars rather than 1) so I went back this evening. There’s nothing better on a cold rainy night than a rich bowl of hot pho. What I got was the worst bowl of pho that I’ve ever had, bar none. The broth was watery and lacking in beef flavor and I doubt that there was any star anise in the broth. The slices of meat were cut with instead of across the grain which resulted in a very chewy and stringy texture. Any home cook knows better than that. I also ordered some salad rolls which were equally bad. The peanut sauce was virtually tasteless and the rolls themselves were incomplete, containing just rice, lettuce and a couple lonely shrimp while leaving out the herbs that are standard in this dish.

I’ve been going to this place for more than a couple of years. Every time we want Vietnamese food, we always think of this place. I’ll let my picture say it all. This is not the first time that I ordered this dish and got this amount. It’s been more than 3 times so it’s safe to say that I probably won’t be ordering from this place anymore when I can order the same dish same price but I get more. I’m not angry but I’m rather sad that Pho House did something like this to customers.

The food was really disappointing. We ordered spring rolls, but the peanut sauce was ice-cold and the rolls themselves tasted like dirt. The pork rolls also had a strange, off taste. The pho had almost no flavor, and the noodles were all clumped together like they were just thrown in at the last minute. I only got about five pieces of meat in my bowl. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and honestly a little disgusted.
My Thai tea wasn’t good either hardly any milk, and all you could taste was the powder they use. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The service was fast, but you can tell they don’t put much care into preparing the food.
The seating situation was uncomfortable too. There were only about eight booths, all full, and although there was another room, it seemed like it was reserved for parties, so we didn’t think we could sit there. We ended up cramped in a noisy area. I didn’t mind the table being loud they were just having fun but for such a big space, the restaurant should really offer better seating options

The service was really fast and they were friendly! The price was average as well and I appreciated the variety of options in terms of sauces (I generally enjoy chile oil and lime).
The noodles were a bit underhydrated. The meat/portions were also kind of light. The broth was nicely salted and clean, but I wished it were a bit more perfumed with spices.

I’ve come twice, and both times, I experienced a discrepancy in their menu. Please, get it together.
Their salad roll was very lacking. As pictured, there was barely any filling, mostly just lettuce.
I ordered the S6 banh mi and it was supposed to be fried pork. The picture in the front of the restaurant showed actual pork but what was provided was fried Vietnamese Pork ham. Irritating. It was essentially S5. I asked the guy that works there and said they changed it up. Why put picture menus on the front of the store like it’s a counter service restaurant? I felt scammed.
On my second visit, I wanted the S17. I noticed this on the menu the first time I came so this was my whole purpose of the 2nd visit. It’s the Vietnamese skillet breakfast with pate and baguette. Turns out they don’t serve it anymore. CHANGE THE MENU THEN.
Aside from the annoying experience, their pho broth is good.
They say 3rd times a charm, so maybe my next visit will be better, but I won’t hold my breath. If I told you that you had a 66% chance of being irritated, would you come back?

The brisket pho absolutely hit the spot. The broth was rich, the meat was tender, the flavor was overall well balanced. The portion was perfect and service was great. They even brought me extra limes and greens when I asked! If I ever visit Vancouver again, I will 100% be stopping by!

Best place for bahn mis with fresh bread made daily. Couldn’t find anything in Portland…and reasonably priced. Definitely, hard to find in Portland

Came here for lunch with my niece and we ordered pho – the house special, and the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl- had the shrimp and pork salad rolls and hot tea. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. The salad rolls include mint which I love personally. I will definitely be back again. It’s a great spot with excellent service and delicious food.
