Our fav was the vegetarian river noodles (an off-menu vegetarian dish), and the beef clay pot, though we also enjoyed the pork bao buns and vegetables dumplings.
They are very good at accommodating allergies, and don’t use any oyster sauce or XO sauce, which made it safe for one member of our party with a fish and seafood allergy to dine here. That’s a big perk!
Overall I found the meal felt like a flavorful, slightly lighter meal. (I.e. not heavy feeling like some Chinese spots can be. (Though this is Shanghainese.))
Excited to return to try more of the dishes!
Our favorites: Shanghainese Crunch Rolls, Street Noodles, Noodle Soup, and Chao Dover Sole – but everything is great!
Whoops, got the deets a tad mixed up—thanks for the nudge! Let’s set the record straight on this awesome new spot that totally nailed our dinner vibe.
We strolled in from our walking-distance pad tonight, and it was pure neighborhood magic. Freshness level? Off the charts. Prices? Wallet-friendly steals. We went for:
– Fried rice (fluffy, packed with flavor, zero grease regrets)
– Beef noodles (super fresh, tender beef, and that perfect noodle texture—total bowl of joy, even if they’re more fork-friendly than slurpy)
– Chicken with broccoli (savory sauce magic with crisp, vibrant veggies—spot-on classic done right)
– Pan-fried dumplings (crispy golden exteriors, juicy fillings—vanished way too fast)
Everything arrived hot, welcoming, and made with that “we care” touch. Service was all smiles and genuine neighborhood gratitude—felt like family already.
And hey, if you’re one of those parking lot U-turn pros: **Skip the spin-out!** Park, pop in, and feast. You’ll be hooked.
Officially locked into our regular rotation. Go support this gem—you won’t regret it!
Definitely going back soon. Eggrolls and beef noodles are awesome. Outdoor patio looks great, too!
We shared several dishes. The beef tenderloin clay pot was magnificent. The flavors were amazing. They bring it bubbling and sizzling to the table, which somehow makes it more incredible. We also had the vegetable street noodles, which was a group favorite.
The pork soup dumplings were so good. Normally I am not a fan of dumplings, but these are the exception. The flavors were just great.
We also had the Dover sole (very tasty), the chicken fried rice (pretty good), the crunch rolls (perfectly crispy and very flavorful; can definitely taste the cinnamon and the curry), and the Chinese lemonade, which we all really loved. Less like lemonade and more like a green, citrus tea, sweet like honey.
Our compliments to the chef. We will be back!
