The past THREE times I have went, they have messed up my order. First time: asked for extra hot fudge on my sundae and I barely got the regular/normal amount. Next time, I didn’t get marshmallow in a marshmallow hot fudge sundae and this third time I asked for a royal orea blizzard, the girl confirmed “with fudge?” I said yes. Each time the order screen is correct but they can’t make the correct item. I used to work at a DQ and so this is my go to ice cream shop, I’ve never had any issues with any other ones except this one. I am kind and clear when speaking.

I ordered birthday cakes for my daughter’s party. After placing the order, they called and offered to decorate as the website isn’t easy with customization. These cakes were decorated so cute for her party theme! The manager and decorator really went the extra mile! <3

I’m not going to be patronizing this Dairy Queen location anymore. It’s been dodgy for years but last night was an interesting experience of customer service to say the least. We sat in line in the drive thru for 25 minutes before being able to order, that’s fine they were busy. What was not fine was the attitude we received from the cashier and the ‘manager’ on duty. From our perspective, the employees on shift were nose to nose screaming at each other. A few minutes go by and I tapped on the window to get the cashiers attention and was given my total in a tone that that said to me “why are you here?” The card is run through the system with the cashier immediately resuming to speak loudly/yell at the same coworker and another 2 minutes goes by and we were genuinely concerned and have not been given our card back so my friend got out of the car to see what was going on. 2 other employees showed up as well as the shift manager who all shouted at him to get back in the car, a conversation was had regarding the state of the store and what had transpired. Our food had been siting on the counter for several minutes at this point after which my friend was back in the car. The manager threw the window open three me a receipt stating she was refusing service and that we were refunded. The store operator was contacted today concerning the situation and the conversation was irrelevant due to the owner stating she was above Dairy Queen standards and referred to my friend as a ‘big scary man’ and in my book that is the exact opposite way to address a complaint. Just go to coldstone, it’s real ice cream.

Me & my family had stopped on our way home from a play. It was 9:10 pm & they close at 9:30pm. We ordered 5 blizzards. 2 with extra candy. When we got our food, they were made extremely poorly & not only did they not put extra in the 2, but they nearly put NOTHING on them. They were all just ice cream. I understand it was close to closing, but that is not an excuse. We visit this location often & never have a problem on the regular. However, I will never visit again within an hour if them closing. This happened another time recently at 9pm.

I have never been disappointed with this Dq. The service, food, and friendliness of the staff is continuously great. We always get our cakes from here for birthdays. This one I had to acknowledge them for because they made my son so happy . He really wanted a Charlie brat theme birthday and they nailed it! Thank you!

This might sound crazy, but this is about the only dairy Queen that I’ve been to in a while where they know how to make a good blizzard and actually correctly mix it. And the people inside there don’t seem to actually hate their lives. They all seem happy to be there. And it reflects on their work. Great food and great service. Will definitely be coming back to this location.

My husband and I will NOT return to this location (another patron described very similar experiences as ours). We stopped coming here on a regular basis because the customer service was not friendly or customer oriented (along with the fact that the inside had very short hours and the drive through line was insane) North Versailles and Herminie are right down the road and have MUCH better customer service (not to mention are cheaper), so we frequent them instead. That being said, because we were already right out by this DQ, we decided to order a 10 inch oreo blizzard cake through the mobile app. When I arrived at the store, a young male employee stated that they did not have any Oreo blizzard cakes out front and I asked what I was supposed to do since it allowed us to place the order and they didn’t have inventory, he said he would check the back for stock and we would go from there, but if they didn’t have any the order would need to be placed X time in advance. A young female employee returned from the back with a very poor tone immediately stating they don’t have any oreo blizzard cakes in stock and NO resolution or assistance was offered. When I asked what I could do she said you could cancel the order on the app but there was nothing they could do with the app because they have no control over it- I explained that we used a coupon and more than likely would not get that back, but she kept repeating the same thing. I left the store and my husband tried to cancel through the app and the faq says you can’t and you need to call the store, so he called in and spoke to the same girl who told him the same exact thing repeatedly as I was told, so he asked for a manager and all she told him was the manager wasn’t there. She didn’t ask for his information so they could call him, he had to ask her to take his info. Brie (the manager) DID call him back and said he did say he could get a different cake, but we ordered oreo blizzard because it was for my dad’s birthday and that is his favorite (so we didn’t want another cake) so she then refunded his purchase, so the manager was perfectly fine and handled the situation, but was handled extremely poorly by the “supervisor”, who obviously didnt even know that the store could refund the purchase, and that was never even offered up until my husband spoke to the manager.

I called in a custom cake a few days ahead of time and the staff there took great care of the order. I asked for a Halloween themed blizzard cake and they delivered! I was thrilled to see the cake and my boyfriend was blown away by their creation, he loved it!! The little cauldron was made with the top of an ice cream cone, icing, and the bubbling brew was slushy I believe. Creativity was superb!

Was there Wednesday a few cars back from the man who was banging on the window. The manager on duty handled the situation very well and professionally. I spoke to her at the window when I got to it and offered to call the police after what he did… very sweet young lady and I hope this doesn’t discourage her. She is doing well for such a young lady and a very big role! I hope she gets the credit she deserves working there. A+ employee in my eyes.
