While in town for the Flickers, Rhode Island Film Festival, we stopped in for an absolutely INCREDIBLE meal. Everything was mind-blowing from start to finish. Gorgeous, sumptuous greek inspired appetizers, incredible crudo, home made pasta to die for etc. etc. Impeccable service in a thoughtfully decorated & intimate space provided by the lovely co-owners & chefs made it feel all the more special…we were truly looked after with no detail spared. Loved that we could purchase our own wine next door and loved everything about our entire experience at this unforgettable gem!
*Oh, & I guess it’s fairly common for that neighborhood but sitting at the table next to us was a very notable A-list Oscar-nominated actor, which made the experience all the more thrilling (& we are from LA).
10/10 would highly recommend! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Two owners, one cozy room, and food that just hits. ️✨
Kickoff: a cheese plate accompanied by house-made jams and their own crafted dark chocolate bar. Salty-sweet, a little savory, and oh so rich-this chocolate has kept her smiling since.
Then a local crudo: thin, fresh, bright olive oil, herbs, and a few slices of stone fruit for lift. Clean and balanced.
And the closer: braised Mediterranean chicken thighs—tender, herby, and hard to share.
The vibe is calm, the pacing is easy, and the owners guide you without fuss. Small menu, with BYOB, no filler. You leave relaxed and already planning the next visit.
Will she smile? Absolutely—this is grin-on-the-walk-home territory.

WOW!!! We had a great dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and was filled with unique flavor and texture combinations. Some of the best tasting food we’ve had. The atmosphere is super cozy, almost like you’re eating in someone’s house. There are seriously 12-16 seats in the whole place and the food is cooked right there in the same room. The ingredients were super fresh and menu was unique and the food was very yummy. My husband and I split the carrot and hummus spread plate and cheese platter and then the lamb sausage polenta. Then we had their lemon olive oil cake and strawberry rhubarb pancotta. We truly enjoyed our dinner experience. We went on a Saturday night at 5, right when they opened and were able to get in without a reservation. I would recommend making reservations though due to the very limited seating. And, definitely try their chocolate. Oh my, is it Amazing!

Great spot! Feels like you’re in someone’s home. Really cute vibes. Eclectic dishware etc. BYOB. Charcuterie board was fun. Different but I enjoyed it. There was some really interesting homemade bread that was warm, both soft and crunchy. When they described it, I wasn’t sure I would like it – but I loved it. That’s when a place is good. They make something you even don’t like come out good.
I haven’t been able to get a reservation until now and I’m glad we finally got to come in right when they opened for the day. They had a film playing on a projector on the wall.

Excellent food and service. Had a great experience. We made a reservation through Instagram; received a quick response. BYOB with a wine shop next door.

I messaged them directly on Instagram to make a reservation for the next night. They promptly answered and let me know that it was BYOB. Perfect start to the experience.
I’ve visited this location when a previous test kitchen was in its place. It is small but it makes you feel like you are in the chefs home kitchen watching them make your meal.
We started our meal with 2 appetizers. The meatballs with ricotta were delicious and full of flavor. I enjoyed the toasted bread on the side for dipping. Secondly, we order the beets. The seasoning on top was incredible. If I could enjoy a third appetizer, I would have chose the cheese/meat plate.
For entrees we enjoyed the chicken thighs and pasta. I ate the entire dish, enough said!
Dessert, light and beautiful.
The chef owners also had great hospitality during our meal. Overall I would recommend to a friend and suggest a visit if you are looking for something new and unique to try in Providence.

Amazing vibes but the food was so mid and also there was like a hair like thing in it but the servers told us it was something from the machine and we asked for it remade and they used a different pasta and it was WAY SMALLER. And tbh it was worse. Not worth the price and they didn’t even reimburse us

This is one of the cutest BYOB spots in Rhode Island. located right in the heart of downtown, this is the quintessential cozy spot. Good for dates, catch up’s and even a pre show meal. The menu is seasonal. We typically get 3-4 dishes to share — though always end up with a small box to go. If you forget your bottle, there is a wine and liquor store next door.
Pro tip: grab a street facing seat for excellent people watching.

I had one of the best meals that I’ve had in a long time at Amaryllis! We loved that this BYOB restaurant is right next door to a wine shop and it’s a truely farm to table. The menu changes daily and the ingredient were locally sourced and FRESH. I shared their decadent charcuterie plate with two friends. It was out of control — I’m talking the most delicious blueberry focaccia bread, cheese selection, two types of jam – my favorite was the fig, black pepper salami, hummus, pita, and chunks of chocolate. It was so much food, we couldn’t finish it. We needed to leave space for our entrees. We chose two pastas and one crudo dish. They were also excellent. Fantastic service all around.
Looking forward to going back. Amaryllis is one of the most popular restaurants in Providence for good reason. It’s low key with high quality food. Spotted multiple A list actors dining at the table next to us.
