This little bar is awesome!!! It was right down the street from our Airbnb. It was recommended by the host. We stopped to get an adult beverage before the Colts vs Dolphins game. They had a breakfast sandwich and a yogurt parfait as the 2 breakfast options. Both hit the spot and were so good!! The bartender was super friendly and since we had never been there before told us how they do things on game days. They have a huge patio and outside seating area and it filled up pretty quick before the game. It’s about a 20 min walk from the Dugout to Lucas Oil Stadium. We love these types of bars and the Dugout didn’t disappoint.

Onion rings weren’t on the menu, but offered as a side and were phenomenal. Indiana staple = breaded tenderloin was tender, juicy, and flavorful with fresh garden toppings (crunchy pickles and crisp lettuce).
In and out without being rushed in 55 minutes after work.
The reviews about service being rude definitely leads me to think people are unaware of the vibes they put out. Definitely a kind of place where servers match your energy. Darlene took care of me, matched my pace, and treated me like a regular even though I’ve been a few times over the last decade. Great spot.

pretty good bar food; awesome place for group activities and gatherings, especially with sports games; plenty space available for most of games

We stopped by here on a biking trip. I would love to come back here for dinner some time with my wife. We got a quick lunch then headed back out. We found a great, shaded table and relaxed with a large pitcher of ice water. My only complaint is that there were few shaded options.

Have you been here? You should come! Awesome outdoor seating area, friendly staff, and amazing drink prices! Inside is bigger than it appears from the outside. Bathrooms are clean, and even smell that way. Brooke and Daniel are fantastic! I decided to order the pulled pork pizza to go, and it was super tasty! Do yourself a favor and stop in. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Good traditional Hoosier “bar food” at a great price! The breaded tenderloin was great. The chicken fingers tasted like traditional homemade fried chicken. Generous portions on the tater tots. Great place to grab dinner when heading downtown for events.

My favorite dive bar in Indy. The Dugout has a great setup. There are two sides, the old side with a lot of bar seating and outdoor seating along the sidewalk. The newer side is nice too and has a huge outdoor seating area. They have live music a couple nights a week which generally draws a decent crowd.
Recently added a third area that opens to the outside with a huge bar and a stage for live music. Live music schedule is up for the fall.
The original side is a gem though. A-lot of friendly locals and regulars. Great atmosphere with plenty of TVs and if you’re lucky, Megan behind the bar. The food here is really good too, everything is solid. Heavy pours, solid apps, great vibe. A pickle back, beer, and some pepper Jack cheese balls will do you just right. The Dugout is hands down the best bar in Indy.

They messed up my door dash order but I called made it right. The girl working the bar was so nice and apologized multiple times. Mistakes happen but the way she apologized was great!!!! Thank you will visit again soon.

I had no plans on going eat here. However it was a happy accident. The staff was attentive, food was good.
Also had a nice atmosphere.

Ordered the veggie burger on wheat with pepper jack cheese. Was surprised to see that it came out on flat bread, not a bun. And with literally no toppings – just meat bread and cheese. Pretty bland. Salad was nothing special – cheap ingredients. Guy at the counter wasn’t all that excited to take our order and the music on the patio was too loud and kind of a weird selection of songs. So many great options in the neighborhood, wouldn’t won’t go back.
