I have been coming to the pub for over 15 years – initially just a place to grab dinner that had heat while i was renovating my NS row house. Then it was because I loved the people that worked there and my friends in the area who frequented it. Now I go for the food, the uniqueness of the building, and the atmosphere. It’s a neighborhood pub that makes you want to hang out there all night, even if you don’t drink!

Not a PGH native, but the Northside has been home for several years. With that said, this place is a neighborhood staple. The food never fails, my go to are the smash burger (no tomato) or the Ruben. The vibe is supper relaxed. The bartenders are consistent and the cocktails hit. It’s a smaller space, but there is plenty of seating at the bar or at a cozy booth. This is a must see in city of Pittsburgh!

My wife and I stopped in here for dinner when in town for a Cubs/Pirates match-up. Place really has a “local establishment” feel to it. Felt really at home here. Service was great and the food was very good. I goth the Shepard’s pie and my wife got a wrap. Will/Would definitely return if in town once again. If we lived in the greater Pittsburgh are this would be one of our regular stops.

Stopped here for lunch after a trip to the Aviary and it was delicious! Very cozy and welcoming Irish pub with great service. The burgers and fish and chips were excellent (one piece of fish missing in the picture because I was too excited about it for the phone to eat first) and we especially loved the curly fries.

First time dining experience was fantastic. I had salmon with mashed potatoes and fresh sautéed veggies. My husband had Shepherd’s Pie and it was full of tender shredded beef! The ambiance is cozy and friendly, a true Irish pub. We plan to go back soon to try some other dishes.

So nice we had to stop by twice! We were staying in the area and came in for a quick pint. The servers were very nice and service was quick. They were playing really good psych rock music too. We had such a positive experience we came back for dinner that night and were not disappointed! My boyfriend was extremely pleased with the fish and chips. Fast and friendly service, good food, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for?

Great Pub. Fantastic service. Hand crafted cocktails are delicious!. Pub fare is perfect to accompany the many locally sourced beers. Thick-cut roasted turkey on the club sammich FTW! Recommended by the kind folks at the nearby Mattress Factory Museum.
