This particular Panda Express is in the food court of The Shopps st Mission Veiho Shopping Mall. The service and atmosphere are those of a food court. The chow mein are good. The orange chicken is ok too. The fried rice didn’t live up to my expectations

Today I had lunch at this Panda Express. The wait in line was reasonable but if they had a second person getting the food I think the service would have been better. I didn’t see the mushroom chicken as an option because there was no name placard but they did have a fresh batch coming out when I ordered it. My only feedback for this specific location would be that the broccoli in the beef and broccoli didn’t seem very good. I did get the veggie side and the broccoli in there was so much better and fresher. I spit out some of the broccoli pieces from the beef and broccoli. My complaint to the company would be that the veggie side is only cabbage and broccoli. I think they could offer some additional vegetables to make this vegetable side more desirable and a really viable option. My other complaint would be that there really aren’t many healthy options at this restaurant. I’m currently doing weight watchers and my lunch was still fairly high in calories and I chose their lowest fat meat options. I think my experience at this location was good enough to eat here again. I like the portion sizes I saw given to other customers but of course, I thought my serving looked a little smaller.

I went to get lunch. I usually try to see if the person scooping the entrees gives a decent portion given their single scoop standard. The server who was serving the group of guys before another customer then me gave them double portions of chicken without an upcharge for extra portions. Then there was a different server who came on to help the line and when I went he skimped on the one scoop of each entree. I decided to ask if I could get a little bit more of the second entree when both seemed skimpy and then the guy said it would cost extra for extra chicken. Overall the experience was very disappointing and I almost was considering walking off, leaving the food there and going to a different place in the food court but I didn’t want to be rude.

Usually I can’t go wrong with Panda because it’s so consistent. However this time at this location I ordered my standard Orange Chicken and it was burnt! Each bite was like eating burnt fried batter. Not very tasty. The chicken and mushrooms had lots of connective tissue in it as well. I only could stomach half my meal. Stay away from the Orange Chicken when it’s not orange.

The short Hispanic manager was very rude when I asked him if I could try one of their items. And while we were ordering he treated us like if he was the lunch lady at school. Even my teenager told me “mom he is not too polite”

While I normally thoroughly enjoy an outing to Panda Express…this particular PE sucks. The staff is incompetent. Screwed up most of the order and then acted like their incompetence was our fault. Ordered a medium drink…had to ask for it 3 times after we paid. Again, we seemed to annoy them by having the audacity to point out how utterly incompetent they are. Cleanliness looked problematic as well.
