The food is amazing as always. Huge portions, absolutely delicious. My only complaint would be the music play list. It feels like I should be in the club instead of trying to enjoy a breakfast. I get that it’s close to the campus, but maybe playing club music isn’t a good choice. And it’s loud, have to talk over it.

Nice little breakfast/brunch spot. We went there for brunch on Sunday and has several breakfast items. The XL Butters breakfast, bacon waffle, Cali omelet, and chilaquiles. I have to say, the omelet was GREAT! It was seriously loaded compared to other breakfast spots in NoCo. See the pics, lots of bacon, avocado, etc. To quote my son, the waffles “are extra fluffy and the sausage is soooo good”. My husband really enjoyed the chilaquiles and went as far as to say that they were the best he’s had in CO since we moved here, besides the ones I make at home of course . That’s saying A LOT!. He loved the guajillo sauce and the fact that the tortillas were so well smothered in it. The only negative about the food was that the hashbrowns were not crispy and actually a little underdone in some areas. You could taste that the potatoes were still a little “toothy”. So we didn’t eat the hashbrowns. The beans were just ok and they only had grape jelly for the toast. But there was a big plus to their hot sauce options, they had Tapatio which is rare to see in CO as it’s mostly a Tabasco or Chalula state. We LOVE tapatio, thank Butters for having that as an option. A HUGE shout out to our server Dahlia, she was AWESOME. Sweet, attentive, quick and I really appreciated that she spoke to us in Spanish. She made our experience that much more enjoyable. Everyone was super nice overall. Atmosphere was typical, a little loud, some old school 90’s/early 2000’s playing in the background. The coffee was strong and hot. We will definitely be visiting for breakfast again.

People miss this great place. The food is great and hot. We’ve tried several things, and love the skillets best. The specialty pancakes are superb–especially the oreo ones which use real oreos and not just chocolate creme cookies. Great staff–kind, funny. It really is a lovely place. Their mimosa funnels are great. Have fun!

We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and we were seated right away. We both ordered the Butters Omlet. The food was delicious and Johnny L was great at checking in with us throughout our meal. If we are ever back in Fort Collins, we would stop in again.

I’ve eaten at the Butters Restaurant in Greeley. It was fantastic. This location is about half of what the other location is. Both in size and stature, if you know what I mean! I had Chicken and Waffles. The waffle was good. The chicken was very basic chicken tenders, probably out of a bag. And really unimaginative. Dry and too salty. I had to put syrup on the chicken to make it more edible. They did have a special today in which their mimosas were one half price. That worked out well for me! I probably will not return to this location.
UPDATE: I did return. I was even less impressed than last time. I got a vegetarian omelet, which was actually fine. It came with toast. The toast was not buttered and was overcooked. I asked for a piece of buttered toast, and they brought me a container of butter. I said No, thank you, sent it back and asked for new toast with butter on it. I understand places being understaffed. I work in a place that’s under staffed. But don’t use that as an excuse for sloppy and an interested service. Now I know I will not return to this location.

I only give Butters a 3 star rating because this was the second time going in. The first time was AWFUL TERRIBLE AND I wouldn’t recommend it for anything. The service was terrible, the food took longer than 35 minutes to get out to me, mind you I was alone just 1 meal took over 35 minutes to get out. I left hungry, angry and late for work that day.
However, today with my girls we went in for breakfast and had the opposite experience completely! The service was great, the food was quick to get out, the food was hot and DELICIOUS!!! The entire thing today was incredible. If my rating was based on only today it would easily be a 4 out of 5 star rating. The atmosphere is okay at best that’s the only reason it wouldn’t be a 5 star. Thankful I gave it another try, it was worth it!
