Gross. I stopped here because they gave me a sample of bourbon chicken and it was good, good quality, good flavor, etc. I ordered kung pao chicken. The chicken was not good quality, not cut well, and they had no plastic knives. Never again.

Review for Oriental Eatery – Boca Town Center Mall
I had a very disappointing experience at Oriental Eatery located in the food court of Boca Town Center Mall. I paid $18 for my meal, and as shown in the pictures, there was barely any meat included—completely unacceptable for that price point.
What made it worse was witnessing how the staff handled the situation. A trainee, who seemed to be doing her best, was instructed to remove half of the chicken from my plate after it was already served. It was uncomfortable and frankly embarrassing.
The service overall was poor, and I was shocked to experience such low standards in a mall known for its high-end reputation. The manager, who appeared to be a Spanish-speaking Latin man, seemed indifferent and unconcerned about both the customers and his own staff.
I do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and dine elsewhere where you’ll be treated with respect and receive the quality you pay for.

No wonder the ratings are what they are….food is recycled, and staff is unwilling to service you like any normal spot in the mall does. I’ve had two or three times now that I get done the gym in the mall and always tell myself I want to have their food, and EVERY single time one of the people behind the counter here give me a hard time about just giving me one dinner serving with orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. They look at me like I’m crazy when I tell them I don’t want any rice or noodles, and start calling other workers to come over acting as if I’m asking about quantum physics.…I don’t get what the issue is. One time months ago they tried to charge me almost $30 because I insisted I just wanted to do orange chicken with the teriyaki chicken together with nothing else. So they lady got annoyed and tried to charge me more than double LOL for what?? What is with the people they hire here? Every single other spot I got to and ask this, they don’t give me a hard time. 200 thousand people per month see my reviews, and I don’t write bad ones often but this place is consistently a unpleasant experience. Made up my mind today and never going back again.

I had to wait 15 minutes for my food because of the cook however I gotta give it to Jade the server she honestly made me so relaxed and feel special that I didn’t. Even noticed it was 15 minutes had past til my other other from another restaurant was ready. Nasty manager Daniel. I ask a question about the food and he said aloud “Iam done with you” ! and yelling ask someone else to take care of me. I thought he was going to hit me, very aggressive men!!! Unbelievable!! Extremely rude. Not a good experience it all. Very disappointed of this place.

The food wasn’t terrible. The Thai chicken stir fry had no flavor. The orange chicken was good and very typical food court “orange chicken”. The reason for the 1 star is because, like the rest of the reviews say, their portions are so small. Such a rip off. Literally one tiny little scoop of chicken… all you get is a big clump of rice. They also give you literally one thin single ply napkin and you have to ask them if you want another one. It’s a one and done type of place.. I really don’t think people check reviews for food court eatery’s much. There was naturally a small line of people during lunch time. People see Chinese and they will just go and grab something quick, but they walk away realizing they have been shorted.

I come here a lot and order the bourbon chicken. I enjoy the food but the portion size is a little light for a 14 dollar meal. It varies depending on who is serving you and how they feel. It was also absurd that I was charged $1 for a second water cup since there was 2 of us. I understand many people may come and ask for water without a purchase. But to charge a paying customer an extra dollar for a small tap water makes you feel nickeled and dimed.

If a was an option to rate this restaurant I would give a 0 start, is more accurate of the description of what they offer. This place has a horrible costumer services, and overcharged. On top of that, I found a bug in my food. Gross which means that they do not follow cleaning standards and serve costumers disgusting food. They didn’t want to give my money back, so I pay for an impure food, and horrible costumer service. I would suggest do not purchase anything in this place, who knows how they clean and cook the food.

DO NOT EAT HERE! i work in the mall and the few times i have come here i have always been over charged. Today i ordered two plates for me and my empoyee and while eating my food i found a bug in my rice so i took both plates back to the restaurant politely met them in the back to ask for a refund so i did not make a scene and i was refused a refund. i was told i could only get the food replaced… as if i want to eat more food from them.
