Solid service, tasty drinks and snacks, and a very cozy space. Grüv is in the same building as the old Wine Tap and benefits from a charming historic downtown Belleville building with exposed brick, unique features, a peek into a spooky old basement, and a brick pizza oven. The patio is my favorite feature of the joint and I’m excited to return in the summer to soak in some rays with friends and cocktails.
I made my first visit on a Wednesday night after dinner with a few friends. We arrived later in the evening and saw the crowd dwindle out. The patio is covered (early April) and glowing outdoor heaters are spaced out. We had a table right beside the brick oven pizza and watched the coals burn out while we sipped on our martinis.
They offer specials throughout the week, so we enjoyed buy-one-get-one half-off martinis and ordered a flatbread margherita pizza to share. The pizza wasn’t special, but it filled our bellies. The drinks were well-made, unique, and delicious.

1st time here and we were not disappointed. I had the Gruvgyro and my husband had the short rib tacos. Both entrees were delicious, our beverages well made and our server was pleasantly attentive. Definitely added this place to our go-to restaurants in Belleville.

Excellent fresh food. Service was fast and personable. I’m not a big wrap person but my chicken, chorizo, and avocado wrap with jalapeno peppers was packed full and outstanding. It comes with a small side salad that was perfect. Yummy
