About us Mazzios Italian Eatery It was 1961. Alan Shepard was the USA’s first man in space. Dion’s “Runaround Sue” topped the music charts. Volkswagen’s funny little car invaded America in droves. And a young school teacher opened a small, one-man pizza restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was to be the birthplace of the growing, dynamic Mazzio’s LLC of today. That original restaurant—named The Pizza Parlor—delighted many Tulsans with the very first pizza they ever ate. The school teacher was Ken Selby, who ran his new business virtually alone and after a full day of teaching.

My wife and I came here for the lunch buffet and were very pleasantly surprised. The salad bar is fresh, the dessert and side items are delicious, and for the price the pizza is excellent! I actually never really liked cracker crust pizza, but I think Mazzio’s converted me! Definitely going to come back here and try more of their dishes. They clearly care about quality and have a good track record since they’ve been here for so long.

Got an order of tossed wings which are normally pretty good, but today was not good at all. Two of the so-called “wings” in my order were not chicken wings at all. I can only describe them as miscellaneous crap that got breaded, fried, tossed, and thrown in with the rest of the order by someone who was clearly not paying attention to what they were doing. See photos. Gross!!

I had a gluten free crust pizza….. only 9″ in diameter. Plenty for one person. If not too hungry could be snack/light lunch or dinner for two.

The place was extremely busy with a lunch time crowd. The staff did a great job keeping the buffet fresh and stocked. The salad bar is always fresh and a great selection. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming to this location specifically for 20+ years. I don’t come a ton Maybe once every few months. As far as value goes, if you follow their Pizza buffet schedule which are usually weekdays 11:00 to 1:30 and you keep up with their coupons online you can get a lot of bang for your buck at this place bring the whole family and you won’t break the bank. Just purely preference wise it’s not my favorite pizza but it’s good pizza I just have a specific type that I like. However what I usually always come for is their salad bar, I like a good salad bar and they just do it right here it’s not massive and it might be a tad limited on some of the options but its Simplicity just works for me and it’s fresh and I enjoy it. If you come here pretty much anytime besides that 11 to 1:30 time slot you’re going to basically have a majority of the restaurant just to yourself it usually stays pretty clear which I love I like to just come relax eat a salad watch a little TV and get back to work. My parents on the other hand they absolutely love this style of pizza and they order takeout here probably once a month if not more. They haven’t changed the decor in this place for probably 20 plus years since I’ve been coming since I was a kid, though an update might be necessary at some point it is very nostalgic for me to come here, honestly Mazzio’s just gets the job done.

Consistently good and safe in knowing what you are getting. We typically do delivery but in the past have partaken in their lunch buffet during the weekdays. Tonight’s stuffed crust pizza was delicious and cooked perfectly. We did a last minute order 45 minutes before they closed and the pizza was delivered super quick and exactly how we ordered it. A pleasant change from other places in town (cough cough woodwards) that won’t take orders within at least the last hour of them being open. The delivery person was nice and friendly and the pizza was still hot. One nice thing about Mazzio’s is that they make their own ranch dressing which pairs well with their pizza and salad. Their salad by the way is decked out and only costs $7.99 which is a way better deal then say woodwards $9 wedge salad which is just a side salad. So do your wallet and mouth a favor and eat at Mazzio’s instead of overrated pizzas competitors in town.

Tried to place an order for delivery for two sandwiches to an assisted living center. The guy was not friendly on the phone and told me it was going to be an hour before receiving the order after giving my credit card number. I thought that was ridiculous amount of time so I canceled. If he’d have been more friendly I might have been inclined to wait an hour. I got the feeling he said that on purpose.

Try something new…we did. I really wish we could love this place….but I can not get over the filth. It’s one thing to be messy but dirty is a whole nother level. Food, debris and just open invitations to rats, mice and roaches under every table. Evident that nothings being cleaned…at all.
Young lady at the counter was friendly but again….. the filth had me questioning the kitchen and what I could discover walking back there. If you don’t wipe tables or vacuum…..you surely aren’t cleaning appliances, fridges or mopping floors.
If the owner is reading this…. this is a good episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

The dining room is usually fairly clean, but the bathrooms are so gross. I’ve been in sketchy gas station bathrooms cleaner that this. Maybe these pics will shame them into spending $50 on new toilet seats and some cleaning supplies.
