The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are ample and filling. I especially liked the selection of salads and soups.
The staff is polite and friendly. Service is fast, even during peak hours.
Overall, the cafeteria is a great place for a quick and inexpensive lunch. I highly recommend it! You can eat deliciously and have a pleasant time here.
“WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!”
I was in the mood for something new and different. Something that I hadn’t quite had before. Moe’s was the new restaurant in town and I thought it was about time to try it out.
My friend and I approached the building and headed in. As soon as we entered, we were verbally assaulted by the friendly staff. After recovering from the initial shock from the friendly welcome, we approached the menu and spent some time mulling it over. “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” I knew I wanted a bomb burrito that would leave me feeling comatose. Both my friend and I ordered the… Joey Bag of Donuts? Is that right? I feel like there’s a story behind that name.
After we told the person behind the counter what we wanted, we had to kind of walk along the cooking line, telling each cook what we wanted on our burrito. “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” I loaded mine up with a ton of jalapenos and got some chips and salsa with my burrito. As we paid and I went to pick up my tray of food, I dang near dropped the thing. “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” That big burrito had to weigh a ton. The cashier offered a forklift to help carry my meal to my table; I politely declined and hauled it there with buckling legs.
Once we sat down and got our food in a position to eat, I realized I forgot my salsa. “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” My plan was to backtrack to the cashier to inquiry about my salsa dilemma but on the way, I noticed they had a salsa bar. “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” I must’ve missed it as I lugged my boulder of a burrito to a table. My eyes shone so bright as I looked over their options. If you’ve ever been to a buffet, think of the salad area and all the different dressings they have. This was like that. A cup of salsa in hand, I headed back to our table.
“WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” As I picked up the burrito, I noticed there was some instructions at the table for how one can unhinge their jaw to take bites out of their burrito. Ignoring those, I set about nibbling off chunks until I could take full bites. Each bite was a blessing of flavors and substance. About halfway through my burrito, I “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” snuck back to the salsa bar to try another option. Once back at my table, I set about the monumental task of finishing off my meal. After using a shovel to put the rest of the burrito away, I sat content and wishing I didn’t take those last few “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” bites.
The table came equipped with a “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” white flag you could raise. Doing this signaled to the staff that you needed a wheelchair to the car from your table as you had ate too much and couldn’t walk. Finding the strength, I reached over and put our flag up. “WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!” We were wheeled out to our car but told we had to get ourselves in the vehicle. How we made it home without exploding is a mystery to this day.
Ok, so maybe this blog post was a bit heavy on the exaggeration and jokes. Maybe Moe’s was just dang delicious and you definitely get your money’s worth of food for about $9-12 a person. Plus, salsa bar. Do I need to say more? If you’ve ever been to a Q’doba, it is a very similarly styled restaurant and a great place to get lunch with friends/family.
“WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!”
