I visited the store on2/24/2026 for the first time ever. I must say that the food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the two piece chicken with fried rice and fries. The rice was old and hard. It tasted stale. The fries was cold, it was unbelievable. I ordered a lemonade and it was good. But the food was disgusting.

Great food, great service, and by far the best prices you will ever find anywhere. You can walk in, order, and dine-in. They have several tables available for the customers. There’s also a drive thru option for those that do not fell like exiting their vehicle. This is a local Hotspot, surrounded by warehouses. A diamond in the rough. Most would have driven by without even thinking about stopping. That’s a mistake. If you know, you know. This is without a doubt the Best Bang for your Buck in all of DFW!

Ordered 2 piece catfish fillets …Thinking they would come out how they are promoting on items to sell board that display they are going to sell us and sad to say that when they brought me the tray they looked like 2 pieces of country fried steaks and seasoning was not good and fries were not good and corn on the cop was not sweet but the Dr Pepper I was drinking was good!!!

I recently had the pleasure of trying Thomas Fried Chicken.The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, seasoned just right with a flavorful blend of spices that kept me coming back for more.

This place is good but there is nothing spectacular with the food. I definitely had a great first time experience, and it’s definitely worth me giving it a second try. I bought the #2 which was a (3) pcs mixed chicken with two sides a jalapeño slice of bread and a small drink. My meals was very reasonably price at $6.70 after tax. The prices of chicken were a good size. The okra was good but I think the fries we a little substandard.

Service was good. I tried the fried chicken plate & the chicken tenders with gravy. The fried chicken was dry & wasn’t flavorful in general. Tenders also weren’t flavorful but they were juicer than the fried chicken. Fries were nicely salted, but the Mac n cheese was very bland. Prices were pretty good for the amount of food you get.

The fried chicken was very tasty and fresh, which was the only thing I ordered. Their set up is a little odd, because it seems like the building was an old convenience store that they’ve turned into this fast food restaurant. There are lots of stacks of boxes scattered about and one row of food staples, plus some refrigerated drinks. Other than that, it’s fairly sparse. There are a handful of tables in the middle of the main room. The restrooms weren’t filthy, but they weren’t all that clean either. Bathroom gets a 4 on a scale of 1-10. Chicken gets a 7.5 (better than average, but not as good as my mom’s fried chicken!).
