Great food and even better service! It doesn’t take long for the staff to make you feel like you’re part of the family. There are other Mr Empanadas in Tampa but this in is by far the best!! Do yourself a favor, and the next time you’re in the area, pay them a visit and make sure you order the apple empanada with the cinnamon and sugar!!

Very good local chain here in Tampa. Mr. Empanada is known for their excellent empanadas and most of their orders are takeout. The restaurant itself is somewhat dull, but still a good place to eat. The service was excellent and was very timely with our orders.
The fries were surprisingly very good! I liked the seasoning and how crunchy they are. Plus, the empanadas are even better. I really liked by Buffalo Chicken empanada and the Italian Beef and Cheese. I’d argue that all their flavors are excellent. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Every year we come to this location for our thanksgiving or Christmas add on menu items. They normally do a good job but this year, y’all fumbled the ball bad! We ordered an entire platter of beef and cheese empanadas and we were not given what we ordered weeks in advance. We received an order that was nothing but a platter of sausage empanadas. Please pay attention and be about your business! This has caused a great inconvenience to not only our thanksgiving dinner but family as well. You can clearly see in the picture this isn’t beef and cheese. We have individuals that are allergic. This could have been prevented. Please pay more attention. This is not good customer service.

First time eating here today and the food and service was excellent! We ordered three beef and cheese, pizza, BBQ chicken, buffalo chicken and a fresh Italian Chef salad. The empanadas were all very delicious and the salad was very fresh! The wait was fast, and the food was very hot and fresh!! This may become my family, and I’s go to on Fridays. I ask myself why we waited so long to partake in the deliciousness of this place! When the food is great and the service is just as great, I become a regular. Thank you, Mr. Empanada! Great Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, chicken tenders, steak fries, salads, and the Spanish Bean soup is to live for. The staff treats everyone like family, they know their customers. Jennifer, Nick, Tyler, Lisa are efficient, friendly, and courteous. The mini Empanadas were a party smash, they were eaten within 10 minutes. Shout out to “Chef Nick” and his world famous fresh cut steak fries . Thank you also for being the only restaurant open immediately after Hurricane Milton, these people were pushing out the food, basically making up for all the other food establishments that were closed. Military and other daily discounts given. If I missed anything in this review please let me know.

I had the chicken, broccoli and cheese empanada. It was the most delicious empanada I have ever had! I spilled my coffee while there and felt awful at the big mess I made. Everyone was so nice about it and accommodating. They gave me a new coffee. Great food and customer service! Will definitely be going back.

It was our first visit to Tampa, and before leaving we decided to get breakfast. My wife spotted this place, and we decided to stop by. The empanadas were amazing, and the people who served us were wonderful. Highly recommended—my favorite was the artichoke and cheese empanada.
