This birrieria used to be better. It’s not bad by any means, but it has a gotten sloppier. The meat is good, but the tortillas fall apart very easily and are soggy. I ordered the taco with beans and the tostada with beans. I used part of the tostada to eat the taco meat. The salsa is spicey and as good as ever. It’s not bad but I wouldn’t eat here often. Service is friendly and this place is near other food options.

This place is a scam when it comes to payment. Servers don’t tell you that your that your are not allowed to split a check. If your party is greater than one, you are not allowed to split the check. Even if you’re only two people, and their reason is because they have low number of bills and change but when you’re paying with a credit card that does not make sense. When paying with the credit card, you do not house to worry about change or bills.
They cannot produce an itemized receipt,doesn’t show full breakdown of items selection.
Please be careful at this scam restaurant.

Food was on mega point!!!!!! Exquisite. Place was small but busy. Service was great and very attentive. Food was great and did not skimp meat. Good amount of meat. Definitely recommend this location. Next time I want to try the menudo, looked good. Very good prices for the food.

Note: the workers here only spoke Spanish when I visited, but that really added to the experience as they were professional and kind as we all made the attempt to get the order correct (I’m still learning because why not communicate with all people?). I didn’t know this, but it is self seating and they will come to you.
I purchased the regular birria taco and the birria con queso. Both were excellent in terms of flavor, temperature, and texture. Highly recommend this spot!

Good spot for birria tacos. Two taco combo plus drink does not come with the birria dip sauce. $10 is a bit expensive for only two tacos and a drink, but they are tasty. My shirt did rip on the exposed nails on the fence outside of the restaurant, so that was a bummer

Came in for the ceviche and it was really good. Tastes just like they make it in TJ with all the condiments on the side to add some spice or sweetness. The waiter was cool, he hooked it up with the tostada’s.

Excellent casual Mexican food with amazing Birria and Quesabirria Tacos! We were especially impressed with the price, the proximity to Coronado, and the hot sauce and flavor of the meat. If you order quesabirria, make sure to order the consomé as well, since it just adds to the flavor.
There is plenty of outdoor parking, outdoor seating, and indoor seating as well. They do not sell beer or alcohol. They have public restrooms if you’re a customer.
Highly recommended if you want good food and fast, especially if you’re on your way to the beach or on the way back!

Tried many different items and the food was delicious, and the meat was soft and tender.
The service was quick and the quantity was huge. The place was authentic and so was the food.
Only drawback was there were flies around, if the management can do something about it, that will be awesome.

The quesabirria tacos were sooo good! You don’t need the consume at all because they are full of flavor and juicy! The tostabirria was HUGE and had A LOT of meat. The ramen birria was also good. Would definitely come back.
