One of my favorites already! Chicken malai frankie and samosa chat were perfect lunch options for a decent $15. Such juicy chicken pieces which were perfectly marinated, the chaat was also so flavorful that my mouth exploded with tanginess, sweetness and spices at the same time.
They were quick with my order and I would love to go again.

Ordered the chicken makhani Frankie from Roti Roll and it absolutely delivered. So much flavor in every bite—rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. I love that the roti isn’t so thick like other places. It’s the perfect roti to filling ratio. I get why this spot is a beloved NYC staple now. Everything tasted fresh, it’s super affordable, and the portions don’t disappoint.
On top of that, the customer service was amazing—they were kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. This is the kind of place you’re happy to support.
Definitely coming back!

Food can be hit or miss but if you want Indian food late night or have it delivered, this is your place in mid/north manhattan. I have been going to this place for years and food is never consistent. If you go late night sometimes food tastes spoiled. Due to this, I visit this place after long gaps over the course of many years and to my surprise sometimes, I get food which is delicious and sometimes disappointing. They also have separate bar & lounge space. Due to lack of options of this kind of food especially at late night and super quick service every time, I give this place 4 stars.

Asked if it’s halal. The guys like what is halal, what do you mean if it’s halal and gave me a lecture which I couldn’t understand. So it’s not halal. Got the shrimp methi roll and the samosa chaat. No flavor in the samosa chaat. The roll was also nothing special. Just an affordable late night bite place. Nothing to gush over. Won’t be coming back. Just didn’t hit.

Went here on a whim because I was around the area and thought this was pretty interesting. Got a few different options, the pickled paneer Frankie, the chicken malai Frankie, and the Bhindi Masala. I would say that the chicken malai was the best one and the pickled paneer disappointed because it did not really have a pickley taste. The roti rolls are very flavorful and well seasoned but also very oily. It is worth it but I would be ready to go for a good walk afterward in this beautiful area.

This a take-out place (with a counter and a few stools). DELICIOUS! AFFORDABLE! FILLING! Did I mention delicious? Indian spices. YUM!
Our FAVORITE is the aloo (potato) gobi (cauliflower) matar (peas) frankie. MUCH more flavorful than it sounds (and I’m ordinarily a carnivore). I’d call it reasonably spicy (medium).
If you’ve never had Indian food, a frankie is like a small Indian burrito (except that it’s ground vegetables instead of rice).

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered at 3am on doordash on the night of January 24, 2026. I woke up a few hours later and had to throw up, followed by being bedridden with a severe stomach and diarrhea for 2 straight days. I am only now feeling fully recovered. I am 100% certain I was food poisoned by this place. Do not order from here. There are plenty of other places. Save your stomach.

Absolutely unreal. A tiny shop but super well maintained, possibly cleaner than my own kitchen. Absolutely no grease or anything just spotless. Staff is friendly. Food came out so fast. Mango lassi is addictive once you start that thing will be gone in 10 seconds.

Absolutely a terrible experience. Employee was incredibly rude, yelled at me and another customer for “looking at him wrong”. My friend and I will never come back. Do not order from here. Customer service was terrible. Food was also not good.
This incident occured on March 9th, around 12:40am.

Tried this new Frankie place while visiting NY. The menu is simple yet good enough option. When we went it was empty and they were mostly fulfilling delivery orders.
We ordered 4 rolls to go but it’s a mess if you want to eat in a car bcz it’s hot and it melts making everything to fall apart so be careful if you are eating on the go and take lots of tissues.
Chicken Makhani roll- 5/5 ( this was good , loved the chicken taste)
Chicken malai roll-3/5( this was no malai but just another dry version on makhani)
Masala anda roll- 4/5( this was good)
Shrimp Methi malai roll-2/5( they boiled the shrimp and put the the methi malai curry from the fridge it was not at all infused flavors- wouldn’t recommend)
You can give it a try but other Kathi roll places I had earlier were better than this!
