I ate at Jo’s numerous times. I was in town working on thier new Tractor Supply, so I’m not a native, but it felt like home. I’m from Arkansas and I’ve been lucky enough to travel a numerous of places, but the Donalsonville, GA changed me. A very little town with a big heart. Im extremely grateful to experience the community around and Jo’s got something. Do not pass it up.

We are from out of town and stopped by Joe’s today for lunch. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and they have anything you want on the buffet… The lacy cornbread was out of this world delish.

I noticed they will be open for Thanksgiving, also.

I waited 30 minutes for three chicken wings. It’s Sunday 1:30. My husband had macaroni and cheese that wasn’t that good he couldn’t even eat the chicken and dumplings. No meat on his plate whatsoever. He had a Dr pepper and I had a glass of water $44.60. not worth it to us. We won’t be back

As a Health Food Foodie Enthusiast it didn’t quite serve my palate. I did enjoy the fried okra and pan fried corn bread, though a bit greasy. The mac and cheese was lacking, not as it was drummed up to be… my sister said it wasn’t the same. The waitress and customer service was excellent.

Their foods were pretty good. But their fried chicken are little bit too dry not able to eat it lol but anyway their gravy on mashed potatoes was very good. Green beans was ok. Peach dumplings was little bland.

Those that follow me know that my travels have brought me to Georgia this week. I haven’t reviewed much because almost every restaurant has had the same Exact thing. They’re all southern food buffets.
I thought this place was different, looked like a little country diner, no indication of being a buffet.

It is. The same fried and chicd chicken, the same baked chicken, okra, weird looking veggies, and deep fried battered hamburger they call country fried steak.

Others around me are enjoying it but this northern dude doesn’t like it! Thats not their fault, they cater to the locals after all.

They have this thing called weaved cornbread. What?? That was weird. Desserr was good and naturally had pecans on it. They kept the buffet full, I’ll give them that. Except when they brought out the deep fried hamburgers, they were cold in the middle!

So, all in all, a nice lil diner that is a buffet only. If you like southern cookin, this here is the place!
