I can’t remember the last time I dined in at a Carl’s Jr. Perhaps, a drive-thru visit before Covid.
This location was one of my all time favorite in Southbay area, when it use to have a playground (my kids would frequent in the late 90s). Carls Jr also happens to be my former employer when I was in high school.
Lots of changes…Menu changes, price hikes, uniforms, staffing and more empty tables.
I didn’t like that there was an empty ice tea container at the beverage station. Moreover, staff did not bother to replenish the drink or attached a sign indicating that it was empty. The other option was to remove the ice container altogether, away from the beverage station.
I liked that the burgers were served hot and fresh. The fries were served the same but way crispier, fresh off the fryer!
Oh, and we were the only ones dining in restuarant yesterday evening.

Worst place as far as service. What can I say make sure to always double check your order because my it never fails that these employees at this particular place will forget something from your order. And to make things worse they dont answer the phone to compensate so either they steal your $ or you go back which is an inconvenience if your all the way home. Unfortunate as I love the food chain but wont be returning, or at least not here. The staff needs better training as well as consideration.

Since we arrived, the attitude of the young man was lazy, tiredness sounded boring and obviously rude, when we got home the fries had hair, I called to tell the person in charge of the shift what happened and that he has to pay attention to his shift and his employees and his response was that his employee was not rude that he only answers and attends like this because it is his last hour of work. And to solve the hair thing he asked me to go for a free combo, but honestly I prefer not to eat anything from there again even if it is free.
They need a new team leaders.

So AI took my order and I did get exactly what I ordered but the chicken tenders and onion rings seemed to have been refried from the day before. I ordered a 5 piece chicken tenders, and fried zucchini. I asked for ranch dressing and honey mustard. I literally only got one of each, ridiculous for the most expensive fast food You can buy in town. Don’t eat there.

They don’t do take out like it says. If you don’t have a car, that will fit the drive-through and I don’t, you don’t get an order. My Truck won’t fit, so I will stop where it states “Take out”!
