Perfect spot for a nice summer evening dinner. The atmosphere is enchanting, the restaurant & patio are very clean. Their drinks are well made. The food is delectable-practically an orgasm for your mouth! In particular the ‘Spicy Toasted Ravioli’ appetizer is a unique & delicious dish to try. All of the food ordered you can taste the fresh, homemade quality. Vegetarian friendly, very fulfilling. The desserts (we had the ‘Summer Fruit Cake’) are both phenomenal in taste, texture, & appearance! The staff is charismatic, attentive, kind & are happy to oblige in any issues you might have. Live in Westminster but this place is definitely worth the drive & the price! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the food, but the wait was ridiculous. It took forever to get the garlic bread we ordered as an appetizer, more forever to get our salads and then an additional forever for our entre. We watched as a couple got up and left, complaining that they had been waiting an hour for their entrees! The fact that the food was good doesn’t make up for the glacial pace of the service.

Update. We have been back a couple of times. The wait was reasonable the service was impeccable and the food was great.

The menu changes are super disappointing! My husband and I have been here quite a few times since moving to Lafayette a few years ago and always LOVED the food. We even liked the changes from Pinocchio’s to Baseline Bistro. Last night we brought family who were in town visiting and expected a great meal and were greatly let down. It feels like another place that has given in to the pressure to be more “Boulder” and has lost its Italian comfort food excellence. Bring back the old menu please!

Definitely a nice place for a date night. All kinds of wonderful Italian food. Try the gnocchi! It came with either salad or soup. I tried the soup and it was the best corn chowder I’ve ever tasted and came with a wonderful fresh-baked roll too. It wasn’t at all crowded for Sunday dinner. Used to be Pinocchio’s, but the name change hasn’t hurt the food a bit.

My family and I went to dinner to celebrate my mom’s birthday and, with the exception of our server, it was terrible. We arrived around 7:00, not knowing that they closed in an hour, and shortly after being seated we noticed the manager loudly telling her staff to hurry so they could close. We ordered and ate as quickly as we could so that we didn’t keep them past 8:00. When our food arrived the manager started turning off the lights around us and once again yelling “Hurry up, we need to close.” Making it blatantly obvious that she was talking to us this time, instead of her staff. We left at 8:10!! My whole family has worked in restaurants before, so we completely understand the frustration of people coming in close to closing time, however we were there an hour before. If you’re looking for a nice family restaurant, don’t go to Baseline Italian Bistro. McDonalds has better customer service.

The food isn’t anything special. We ordered the chicken parmasean and it was the most basic tasting dish. It tasted like tomato paste for the sauce. No flavor. The customer service was decent. Other than that, we will not be returning. We felt like our $30 dinner was a waste. Not worth it.

After waiting 20 minutes the only waitress came over and took our order. After that things went pretty quick and smoothly. The appetizer was a small portion and seriously dissapointing. Our dinner was fantastic though and service had vastly improved by then.

Thank You Baseline Italian Bistro for cooking dinner tonight! Very warm and welcoming atmosphere and crew at this wonderful restaurant in Lafayette Colorado. I love how welcoming they were to animals. Justice was so in her element. Thank you. Oh and the food was AMAZING!!! Definitely going back!!!

We have been a few times and the food is always good, large portions, and nice service. We haven’t had a dish there we didn’t like, and feel the prices are reasonable for good quality food. It is not the most authentic Italian out there from my experience, but still tastes good.

Where do I start. By far the worst Italian restaurant I’ve ever been too. As soon as we walked in, you are face with an outdated bar with minimal decor and what appears to be a local bar fly staring you down. No host or waitress to be seen. We doing find out these poor employees are hostess, waitress, table bus person, and cashier.

We are seated in the main dining area at a bland, outdated table dressed with a $1 red and white checkered table cloth. No olive oil, no bread, no nothing except the void of server to fill your time. Eventually they take your order.

The server arrived and was pleasant and apologetic. We ordered, and waiting for our food. And waited, and waited. About 40-45 minutes later we got our food, and as we looked around the room and could feel the obvious frustration of the other patrons.

We ordered garlic bread to accompany our food after we realized we we’re not going to receive a bread basket or any other amenity. Not only took nearly 20 min for an order of bread, it was THE WORST garlic bread I could have imagined for waaaay to much moneys. A frozen loaf in the over for 10 min was better.

Last.. we waited a long time for the check, and had to unlock the back door and let ourselves out. Honestly thought we should just walk out.

Time to upgrade the decor, boost staff. Put some money into this place and make it worth the over-priced bill for lackluster service and decor. Any good thumb up or high review must be relatives to the owner.
