The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from start to finish. Service is quick, and they’re always happy to help with recommendations or timing the grill. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.
Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Japanese BBQ in the South Bay!
It does get very busy so I recommend making a reservation before hand. Can be a long wait if you don’t have a reservation but I say it is worth the wait.
Will definitely be back soon!
Food was off the charts, fresh, quality cuts of meat, and fresh produce. The portions that they bring every time you order are perfect too so that you don’t waste any food. I had a good amount of the menu items. The service I had was pretty prompt.
My wife said they came with a group of coworkers the day before and the service wasn’t so prompt but it was good enough for her to bring me the following day lol.
The spicy edamame was couldn’t stop eating it. The cucumbers were alright, but I did appreciate the freshness of the veggie, if only it had more of that lil sauce and pickled a bit. The angus beef ribs were my favorite, if you know what you’re doing on those lil grills you can’t go wrong with any cut of meat here.
The cheesy butter corn was a suprising delight. It wasn’t too cheesy (I thought it would be cuz of the pics) and that allowed the natural flavor and nuttiness and sweetness of the corn to still prevail with the cheese and butter complimenting it. I don’t think the picture does it justice. No one at the table wanted it, but I’m always up for a lil food excursion so I tried it. Asked my wife and daughter to try and they both liked it. My daughter actually wanted me to order another lil skillet of it lol.
The steamed spinach was nice too, with the garlic not too overpowering. My stomach is growling writing this review lol.
My wife loved the yaki-shabu beef. It was very tender with a savory, sweet hint of spicy too. It was good. The basil chicken had a nice savoriness to it too, not too herbal and seasoned well. We had the Miso soup as well, my wife didn’t care too much for it. She said it was bland, not what I experienced however lmao. The tofu I didn’t care for but the seaweed (I think it was) was nice and fresh added a bit of texture to counter or balance the softness of the tofu the soy. It’s an acquired taste kinda thing to me.
All in all, I’ll be back! And soon! Me and the family. And I’ll be telling others (already have actually lol) and they’ll be joining in my good dining experince.
We celebrate birthdays, anniversary and just a simple lunch date.
What I love about this place is every single time we go it gets better and better not only the food is amazing , but also we come here because of the servers Pablo and Kat are super awesome! They are both super professional and very friendly. They know how to make you feel at home especially on your day off. We will always come here for a Japanese barbecue and now we tried the Ramen it’s so delicious. If you’re in the Torrance area and would like some comfort food give them a try and you can also download their App for some great deals.
Thank you can’t wait to come back !
