I think fast food, any fast food, is just garbage. But my son loves Carl’s Jr and the guy who works at the drive through is just so nice and polite, so he’s the reason for the 5 stars. He is very respectful and funny and really just such a breath of fresh air at the end of a long day when I have hungry kids in the car. And the order is always correct, never have to double check it.

I ordered a lettuce wrap triple bacon guac burger for online pickup. When I got it home and opened it up they tore a single patty in half to make it appear as a triple. When I drove back to have it replaced they didn’t apologize but did replace it. They can’t lettuce wrap a burger to save their lives and it overall sucked in comparison to others I’ve tried. I frequent Carl’s Jr and am usually very happy but this place is utter garbage. There’s a location on Douglas near sunrise that is way better and worth the free extra minutes you might have to drive.

Passed by here late this morning. I just came from school at American River College. I went here to use a coupon for $2 off any Triple Burger Combo. I chose the Triple Western Bacon Cheeseburger Large Combo with Large Fries and a Large Drink. The service was quick and easy, and it was also amazing. I haven’t been to this Carl’s Jr. location in a long time. I used to live in Citrus Heights from November 2006 to September 2010, almost 4 years which was during My childhood. I used to live nearby. I grew up in Citrus Heights that time.

Great burgers, except they stopped offering their specialty sandwiches. That’s a ‘shoot yourself in the foot’ move. Really miss the teriyaki burger, was a big reason I went. Now there’s nothing “special” about Carl’s. Hope corporate changes their strategy.

Once again they messed up my order eventime I come here they mess it up DO NOT GO HERE FOOD IS TERRIBLE AND THEY NEVER GET YOUR ORDER RIGHT ordered a Diablo burger with no sauce I get home 10 min drive to open it and find the bun is soggy from a hand full of jalapeños and juice the burger didn’t have the jalapeño poppers on it like advertised I am very disappointed with the service being that I asked at the window if everything was correct hire employees that do there job or close your doors this is terrible this happens literally every single time I come to this location

Food is not fresh went there about 7:00 p.m. twice in one week the burger patties taste like they’ve been sitting all day possibly even microwave before coming out to you ordered my burger had it within 30 seconds do not go here if you want a fresh Burger employees are too lazy to cook them I get it it’s Carl’s Junior I go to many different locations this one has the oldest tasting patties out of all of them

I used to like this place and recently visited for the first time since the pandemic. The staff before the pandemic were friendly and the food was fresh. On June 28th 2021 I went to this location and was not greeted in a friendly way by I believe was the shift manager in a black shirt. He seemed annoyed when I presented him with a coupon for a two for the price of one. There was only one person making the food so as you can imagine I waited for a while for the food. When the food came the manager gave me the bag and I said thank you but he didn’t even look at me and just walked away. I ordered the ranch chicken sandwiches and they were horrible. The oil they used was so old that you could taste it. I will not be returning to this location. Just goes to show that some people should not be working with the public.

They happen to be my favorite fast food burger. However they’re just like every other fast food joint. Nothing special. Typical service. Very seldom do I get a thank you. But why would I expect polite curtesy in 2024. That quality has gone out the window. When I worked in customer service, the last thing I would say to a customer was, “Thank you very much. Have a nice day.” If I didn’t, my manager would chew me out. Now, the managers are just as bad as the workers.
