Ill start with the atmosphere so, you Will understand why I gave it only 3 stars.
The establishment aesthetic reflects an older aesthetic. HOWEVER, the service is A1. The gentleman who was our host/server was kind, polite and very professional.
He respected all the customers the same and kept everyone happy.
He gave a suggestion to try the Lebanese tea, which was perfect!
I had been craving some good hummus and they did not disappoint..
My falafel sandwich was A1 as well.
Did I mention they honored my request to toast my wrap!?!
Lastly, prices are fair and portions are just right.
We will be back.

Sahara Café absolutely blew me away! Everything from the food to the service was spot on. I ordered the halloumi, fresh tzatziki, and beef kabob, and each bite was bursting with flavor. The pita bread came out warm and soft, and that garlic sauce—oh my goodness—was addictive.
The service made the experience even better. Bashir took amazing care of me, and my food came out in seven minutes flat. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does.
To top it all off, the mint tea was absolutely incredible—fresh, fragrant, and the perfect way to end the meal.
If you’re craving authentic Mediterranean food made with love and served with heart, Sahara Café is the place to go. I’m already planning my next visit!

We r traveling from Houston, TX and were looking for halal options. Found Sahara Cafe on tiktok. There food was fresh and good.
But please make sure that restrooms should be clean too. Restroom was extremely dirty , paper towel machine it self was disgusting.

The host was amazing. Top tier Friendly service. I informed him that this was my first time having Lebanese food. He helped me decide what to try. The food is cost effective. Lebanese tea is DELICIOUS. I had the basmati rice (delicious and fluffy), chicken, lamb, hummus and salad. I had a time enjoying the flavors. Lamb is delicious. I will be back for more delicious meals. Great experience.

Nice staff but very no frills place. AC doesn’t work very well unless that’s part of the “authenticity” to make it as warm as Lebanon. Menu and food are very basic. The food isn’t bad but it doesn’t stand out from any other similar restaurants.

This place truly makes you feel at home. The food is fresh and full of authentic Lebanese flavors, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I have always loved Sahara, but today they really impressed me with their outstanding food and service! I work nearby and called in an order for a Falafel Sandwich and a Lebanese Iced Tea for my lunch. My order was ready on time and I was greeted with a smile upon waking in. The kind gentleman behind the counter asked me, “Do you like hot sauces?” “Sure!” I responded. He then brought me out a small container of a special green sauce, a container of Tahini, and a spoon to mix them together. He encouraged me to try the sauces on the falafel, and I am so glad that I did!!! It was so delicious!
All in all, the food was great and very reasonably priced, but more importantly, they took the time to give me a little something extra to make my meal special! I love this place, and I will definitely be back soon!

Sahara has always been one of the best on the westbank. The guy behind the counter is super friendly. You can’t ever have a bad day and leave feeling the way you did coming in. Also, the kibby is back! It was great with a lunch plate, and my husband did the combo plate of Gyro and Chicken Shawarma. Both of us were nicely full for lunch. Plus, they have the only Lebanese tea I actually enjoy.

I had the last lamb shank that was available and boy do I feel lucky, the meat fell right off the bone, was so tender and delicious. Everything at Sahara is top notch, I enjoyed the appetizer sampler, the falafel is delicious and would have been my top choice if it was not for the Lamb Shank. If you’ve never had Lamb Shank and you are a meat lover, head over to Sahara, they don’t have it available every day so make sure to call ahead if your heart is set on it. I’d go there regardless, you won’t be disappointed.
