No windows so a little dark but the bright welcoming staff make it well worth a stop.

Dropped in after travel all day. Great time and unwind.

This is one of those places that endured throughout the hard times and the good. A classic joint, the kind we need to support by any means necessary. So here’s a blind review because you stay true!

The Brass Rail is a great place to relax & visit with friends. The staff is quick to greet incoming patrons, makes delicious mixed drinks & makes everyone feel welcome & included. This is also my favorite place to play pool.

Best in Opelousas. Others come and go. The Brass Rail remains. Coldest beer in town, plenty of pool tables, poker machines, juke box, and best of all – great conversation and community.

Dark interior, friendly bartenders and owner. Fun to see the hundreds of signed dollar bills tacked up throughout the backbar wall. Of course we added our A nice lil local hole in the wall. Back door looks like a barn, no sign, bottlecap filled walkway.

Little hole in the wall bar. I only had a couple beers but had fun. Friendly bartender and atmosphere

Opelousas’ oldest drinking establishment. If you’re looking for a nostalgic, dimly lit, hole in the wall, bar room experience, look no further. The Rail, as the locals call it, has only 2 taps but does serve cold mugs or draft by the pitcher. There’s an AMI internet jukebox, video poker, and two pool tables. They cook plate dinners on most Tuesday nights.

Cool place as long as you’re exhorting pool and drinks…nothing else. Quiet, semi-friendly atmosphere
