I had the Fajita Salad Catrina. Shrimp, steak, and chicken with guacamole, sour cream, peppers, onions, cheese in a very well made taco bowl. It came with rice.
The salsa is delicious with a mild bite.
The cheese sauce is very good. We had (3) 5oz servings for 9 adults and there were a lot of leftovers (we all had chips and salsa beforehand too).
Everyone in the party really enjoyed the food and I had order envy more than once. I would make a reservation as there was a line at the door on a Friday at prime dinner hour (6pm).
Also they share rewards with Las. Amigos.
The service was polite and good, but as they are new I think they are still working out some of the kinks. I’ll look forward to going back in the future and seeing how they improve
We had the fajita burrito with chicken and steak. It was very good! My husband had the burrito al carbon. It was also very good!
Our waitress suggested grilled jalapenos, and they were AMAZING! I would definitely recommend them!
The amigos fajitas and margaritas are the best, I love the Cadillac margarita and it’s always made perfect to my liking. My wife gets the Santa Fe salad and it too is delicious and well made.
All in all we enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.
This is authentic Perfect Mexican food as real as I’ve tasted and what I need when I order Mexican.
The meat was tender juicy seasoned well and not dry. We had the Carnitas, Asada/SteakTacos, Shredded Chicken, Grilled Chicken.
The Tacos were dressed up con onions y cilantro with 2/Corn tortillas each like they should be. The flour tortillas were soft and chewy.
The rice was on point, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Queso was liquid gold. The beans were moist and delicious.
The French fries even were some goodAzzFriez too. I wanted the loaded fries also but the bartender as sweet as she was must not have keyed in the order of half chorizo half beef loaded fries that she even repeated back to me … oh well its all the more reason to come back!!
The place is still newly opened and if I had to criticize one thing, is to double check the order- Missing my corn tortillas with my carnitas y Jalapeños for my tacos . Not a big deal I’sh happens with new places still getting into the groove.. at least I had my Verde which was kind of thick and I liked it. In my experience, Verde is a little thin but I like the way they make theirs here. The GWAK … man I cant forget to mention it, yea Fire.
Had a new flavor of Corona that tasted like Summer while I waited. No photos of the food because We devoured it like Lions before I could snap a pic. I’ll take some next time!
Muy Muy Bien La Catrina Es La Mejor De Mejor!
One downside is that the menu states red and green hot sauce are complimentary, but there is an upcharge for them. The same seems to apply to a few other add-ons. That feels misleading, and it’s one of my biggest pet peeves—a couple of dollars from every customer adds up, especially when the menu suggests otherwise.
Looking forward to coming back once the window/wall is fixed, because it was pretty cold inside during our visit. Noise level is a little high and the sound system, kept tweaking out which drove me bonkers.
