First time back since the renovation and we were greeted for our reservation with no one at the podium. Waited for a while and when nobody came to help us we asked the bartenders for help and they got the manger out to seat us. Food was great, service was a little low but we didn’t really mind that. When we left once again no one was there for us to say thank you to at the podium, instead our waiter, another waitress and the manager were sitting at the tables by the front door counting money. Over all, we loved the food but little touches like a greeter at the front door was definitely missing from the over all experience.

We celebrated our anniversary at Mill Pond, and it could not have been more perfect. From start to finish, everything was exceptional; the food, the atmosphere, the music, and most of all, the hospitality.

Do not sleep on the mill pond! Since they re-opened, this has quickly become one of my husband and my favorite restaurants. The service is a true standout. I have never been to a restaurant where the staff cares more about my experience. They are so attentive and always go the extra mile in every way: checking in, asking for feedback, champagne for occasions – they make you feel so looked after. The food is also incredible, even outside of the sea food, we got the short rib and chicken parm which were delicious and the portions are big!

This is one of those “Everyone loves a comeback story” reviews – genuinely impressed with the steady improvement this place has demonstrated over the last 6-ish years. When we first moved to the area, we came here a few times. The experience was never bad, but also never great. You got what you paid for, didn’t feel ripped off or anything but deep down you knew the place had the potential to be great. Well – I can happily say that now, it is. Everything from the food to the staff attentiveness, overall atmosphere and ambiance – all on point. Couldn’t ask for more. If I have to find a thing (this has always been my pet peeve) it’s the mandatory Valet. Some people have reasons to want someone to park their car 20 feet away for them and that’s fine.. but I kinda prefer to not let total strangers drive my car a needless amount of distance for no real reason. Give us the option to just tip the valet (and park our own vehicle) and I’d be at a perfect 10 for this place. All in all, well done. Glad we gave it another shot after these years.

Renovation done right!!!! What a great experience. Started off with Jocelyn behind the bar mixing fantastic drinks. The menu was fantastic. Feels like the Millpond of old days with a notched kicked up. Will be back soon!!!!!

Wow!! We throughly enjoyed our late lunch at Mill Pond House!
Ambience was amazing, overlooking water. Service was warm and friendly.
We ordered from prix fixe menu and it’s the best value out there.
My daughter ordered spicy tuna roll. I was surprised how fresh and nice it was. PEI Mussel and baked clams were my favorite appetizers. Big portions and had lots of flavors. Mussels had lots of artichokes and roasted garlic. Chefs and waitstaff care about food and service here.
For the entree, I had filet of sole Roberto and it was excellent! Fish was light and fluffy inside and crispy outside. Broccolini was cooked with flavor and well presented in the plate. My husband’s steak and fries were also excellent! Only dish I wasn’t crazy about was the seafood with mini orzo. It was flavorful and seafood were fresh, but too heavy with cream and oil for me.
It came with sorbet or chocolate mousse. It was a nice way to finish the wonderful meal.
Overall it was 10 out of 10 experience and we plan to come back with the rest of family and friends in a near future.

Mill Pond absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home without hovering.
The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients and take real pride in what they serve.
Drinks were spot-on, and dessert was the perfect finish to an already flawless meal. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for an elevated night out, Mill Pond delivers on all fronts.

Food is good, price is $$$. Nothing beats the view and staff is very friendly. They kept giving us more bread which I appreciate. Nothing we ate was fantastic but good. I got seafood scampi linguine. I forgot to ask for soft pasta. Al dente seems to be the trend everywhere. If you want to impress with the view. Also only valet parking.
