Living on Sanibel full-time, we pop by Huxters Market and Deli frequently. They have just about everything you need or may have forgotten. During lunch break and early mornings they are busier than normal. It’s much faster if you call ahead to the Deli and pre-order.

Small market and deli. We stopped here to pickup some breakfast stuff for the next few days. The checkout person let us know about the deli and ordering options. He says the get backed up around noon. He suggested calling ahead with an order is the best way to get a sandwich ready during busy times.

There’s a bunch of low reviews here because this place stuck to the mask mandate. I for one appreciate it when a business looks out for the health of my fellow Americans.
Other than that, got a sandwich here which was good, the service was perfectly fine and the atmosphere was welcoming. May the snowflakes melt away sooner than later.

Huxter’s on Sanibel Island is a great Or some really good chicken tenders for lunch. The staff is always fun and smiling. They’ve been devastated by a few storms and they keep coming back. I work on the island and it’s a go to for a really great snack drink or a hearty lunch.
