Stopped in for a drink and late snack. I will say it was probably the best Mai Tai I’ve had and would go back just for that. However the crab Rangoon was gross. It was served with BBQ sauce and some sort of Honey Mustard Horseradish. The menu says sweet and sour and that what we wanted but didn’t matter, they were just not good. Also we were hoping to have fun tiki glasses with the drinks we ordered but still unsure how you get them as we just got normal glasses. Did see some sitting at the bar with the more fun tiki glasses. There are a ton of drink options and would go back for drinks.

After being living the Vanlife for 7 months my husband and I decided to treat ourselves. We picked this place because we have one near our home and have had really good experiences. When you live on the road you want to get back to your campsite earlier rather than later due to how dark and disorienting RV parks can be. For that reason we made a reservation for 5:00 when they opened. Parking was very easy for our van. There was an open air lot across the street. Because we were a bit early the main doors on the side of the hotel were still locked. Due to recent ice storms and bad weather it was cold. We made our way around to the hotel entrance thinking we’d work our way to the restaurant that way. My advice…..just ask for directions. We wandered around for 15 minutes thinking certainly it cannot be that hard…. it was. The restaurant was beautiful and what we expected. We also expected the high prices. What we didn’t expect was the average food. My husband had the Kung Pow Shrimp which he did not finish and did not want a doggy bag. I had the ribs, which again was average. We did take those leftovers with us. The drinks were very good. We also thought the poo poo platter was good. The waiter was friendly but a bit lackadaisical for what is supposed to be a more high end restaurant. He brought out our soup at the same time as the appetizer and kinda leaned over this ledge to ask us a question instead of coming around to stand at the table. All ok when you eat at Denny’s but when you spend well over $200 for 2 people your expectations are just a bit higher. Maybe I’m old fashion and maybe $200+ is just not that much any more. Anyway, that was our experience…..Average.

Food and drink were all impeccable. Everything we had was absolutely amazing! The size of the drink menu alone is worth a special visit but the food hit every time as well. Our server Samantha took excellent care of us and made us feel so at home and comfortable and had great recommendations! We had a little difficulty finding it from the parking garage since it’s in the lower level of the hotel but absolutely would recommend going here for dinner or drinks.

Great place for a special night out. Great menu and drink options. Just follow the signed down to the restaurant. Decor and atmosphere are cool…. I think a throwback from last the last century.

This place truly made me feel at home! I was visiting solo, but right away, one of the regulars welcomed me, gave me a little tour, and shared all kinds of fun and interesting facts about the restaurant. It instantly turned a simple visit into a memorable experience. Milenko, Salam, and Destiny were absolutely amazing. Their friendliness, energy, and attentiveness made the atmosphere feel warm and inviting. From the moment I walked in, to the time I left, I couldn’t stop smiling. Their genuine care and enthusiasm made me feel like part of the community, even as a first-time guest.
It’s rare to find a place that combines great service, a welcoming vibe, and engaging conversation so effortlessly. I left feeling uplifted and excited to come back—this is exactly the kind of spot you want to return to again and again.

We have lived nearby our entire lives and never visited until last night. We loved it! The decor, food, service… everything was wonderful. My only complaint would be the speed that the drinks were served. It took quite a while from ordering till they were at the table. We tried a variety of the drinks. For the dishes, I had the all in fried rice and he had the lamb chops. Parking is validated when you park in the Hilton parking deck. Our server was very helpful and attentive. Definitely should check it out if you haven’t.

It was so much fun to visit Trader Vic’s! It has been on my list for a long time and couldn’t pass up the opportunity in Atlanta. We were amazed by how large the facility was and we popped in for an appetizer and some drinks. We got the pupu platter sampler of Ribs, crab, Rangoon, shrimp, and pork. I also enjoyed my banana tiki drink, and loved the vibes! The facility was beautiful to walk around, and they even had a man who was eager to tour us through the space and talk about the history. It truly is a treasure. As we left, Tempest at the check-in counter helped my friend and I to bring home some tiki mugs. She brought the service to the next level with her kindness and warm demeanor. We had such a wonderful time and Tempest was certainly a highlight with her wonderful customer service.
Cannot wait to visit again next time in Atlanta!

The food was sooo good! And the service was 5-star! You can’t beat the tiki vibe atmosphere, but when you combine it with live music, it just takes the night to an entirely different level! We will definitely be back!

Trader Vics was on my Tiki list of must visits. We visited three times and ate here twice.
Beautiful decor. It’s decorated beautifully. The service and food were good. The drinks were hit and missed. Definitely not “modern tiki,” but some drinks were great. Some drinks were woth trying.
I would definitely recommend visiting if you were in Atlanta.

If you’re in Atlanta, you must try Trader Vic’s. My wife and I ate here multiple times during our last trip to Atlanta. Food is outstanding. Our server was Angie, and she was very friendly and attentive. Nice variety of seafood. Alcohol menu is on par with some of the best restaurants I’ve dined at. Their house made peanut butter is delicious. Make sure you try the Char Siu Pork. I tried the ribs and the pork chop with pickled slaw and plantains. Nice flavor on everything we tried. Highly recommended!
