However, the overall experience was disappointing. The food was noticeably salty, and the taste was quite average. Considering that it is located inside a hotel, we expected a higher level of quality, but it felt very ordinary.
The atmosphere was also much brighter and noisier than we anticipated, which made it less suitable for a special occasion.
In addition, we were not satisfied with the service. At one point, a plate with a knife on it was placed down in a way that felt almost thrown rather than properly served. We also found ourselves having to move plates on our own during the meal, which added to the frustration.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant for celebrating special occasions.
I ordered a hot tea, and ordered. There were ONLY a few folks in the place. I party of six that left shortly after I arrived, and another party of like five and then me. It took Sohail 10-15 minutes to bring me a SPOON for the honey for my tea. He gave me a stir stick and looked puzzled as to why I wanted a spoon.
But I digress. I had high hopes for my steak. It had some kind of sauce on it, not steak sauce, but I’m thinking it’s because of all the FAT in the steak. As you can see from the pictures, a good amount of the steak was FAT.
The ambiance was quiet. Would I come back? Nope. Do I recommend? Sure try it, just don’t order the steak.
This is inside of the Hilton nestled in the heart of downtown not too far from the Capital building. If ever in the area, and you come here…please let me know your thoughts.
I was expecting better from the food especially as I have eaten at numerous Hilton restaurants around the country.
The restaurant is called Audrey Kitchen and it is adjacent to the bar . Bar and bartender by the way was fun and good drinks !
I chose what I thought was a cold salad bowl and added a seared Salmon as an extra topping. The grain bowl consisted of quinoa , sweet potatoes and a spiced version chickpeas that was warm (or warmed up) and a bit of a “blob” . Salmon was okay but definitely well overcooked.
I have to give kudos to the great service as the waitress was very nice and helpful.
Overall fairly mediocre experience when it comes to the food.
I should have read reviews before making our reservation. I have been there before, but things have gone downhill. I agree with the other reviews that the Hilton needs to take a look at this restaurant.
I will give the atmosphere a good mark. It is cozy and quiet, which is what I wanted. And despite waiting between 20-45 minutes for a round of cocktails for a party of 3, the Pear Martini was delicious.
But that isn’t enough to get us to go back or to recommend to others.
this place. It’s very new and fresh and well put together Didn’t know it was a hotel restaurant till we got there. Located inside the Hilton Hotel, this place is amazing. I recommend checking this place out for tasty appetizers, pizzas, drinks and awesome services
Must must try the Popcorn Shrimp, Fried Pickles and Wisconsin Cheese Curds. The pizzas were really good and so was the chicken sandwich. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our late night dinner there.
