If pricing was something I could rate it would be one star. I took my family here after a funeral on Saturday the 10th so we could be together for food and a couple drinks and talk.
There were 5 of us to start, another 5 arrived shortly after. Wait staff was very accommodating in getting tables put together.
We ordered cocktails then looked at the menu. The prices seemed a bit high so we only ordered for the 5 of us a burger, appetizer wings, and a bowl of soup.
My husband got a beer that was skunky, (they did replace it with a tap), my bloody Mary was ok, old fashioned were very good. All in all, 4 old fashioneds, one bloody Mary, 2 beers, a soda, and aforementioned food came to $164!!
Will never be back. It nearly ruined our day.
We got surcharges for 2 extra plates, an automatic 20% gratuity on just 5 of us. Other weird surcharges and the cc slip asked not only for another tip, but for a blanket charity donation? Disgusting

Thomas L, our server, was phenomenal with our giant group of 20 ppl. He had great patience and recommendations. I ordered the Frutti De Mare and ate it non stop, I forgot to take a photo for this review. My friends said the Monte Cristo was delicious and we enjoyed the Irish coffees, Peanut butter cup, and Old Fashioned were on point. Thanks again Thomas for the wonderful service!!

I don’t think I can stress enough that I just had the best sandwich of my life I was swooning and already planning my next trip back to have it again. Get the Nashville Hot Chicken. Amazing 11/10. Only ntoe is that it is not hot in the slightest, definitely on the sweet side. But the flavors and slaw with the pickles and sauce went together so so well. I was so shocked I made my friend try it, and she was blown away as well. I never leave reviews. But, I was moved by this sandwich lol. Will be back.

Stopped in a few times to see if anything changed but I’ve noticed a few things. The glassware in the bar seems very dusty and never rotated or cleaned. The beer was flat and had a weird taste to it. The bartender was very friendly but it seemed like he had little training. When making a cocktail he did not fully shake the mixture and did maybe a 1 second shake. This is more of a management issue. Which is unfortunate with such a nice hotel above them. I hope they read this review and find it helpful because it would be nice to have a better pub in the hotel.

Only redeeming quality of this restaurant is the location. Bad service when it is not busy at all. Food my partner had was extremely bland. Server did below the bare minimum. Will not be returning here.

Edit. Made my partner sick. I had a few bites of her burger and felt unwell too.

Worst waste of money for Thanksgiving dinner ever in my life.
For $34 I received:
A small dinner salad with mushy croutons and wilted lettuce mixed in. Some of the lettuce was literally black and rotted. Had to pick it out.
A main entree with ridiculously small portions. Stuffing, my favorite, literally 2 tablespoons of stuffing was my portion. It was even markedly less than the other meager stuffing portion of my fellow guests. Got to love that cheap processed turkey loaf meat. The only adequate portion: Green beans swimming in excess butter contaminating my entire plate. No bread before or with meal. Dessert was a semi sweet pumpkin cheesecake that was sub par at best. So sad, because I remember 6-7 years ago having their thanksgiving buffet and it was great. Oh how far they have fallen. Makeshift thanksgiving at home done the easy way still would have been way better than this. Never again. What a rip-off. It’s a shame too because the restaurant is very nice and pleasant as well as the staff. The kitchen in back obviously needs work. The head chef should be fired. If it’s the owner calling these shots, they should sell the place for the sake of restoring dignity to the history of the location. Considering the food experience at the price, my review was still not harsh enough.

Had an excellent lunch with the family. Service was great and the food was enjoyed by all. Will definitely return again. Nice location that puts you in the center of town. Take a break from shopping or after a stroll by the river.

Service was a little slow but it was early and they were still getting setup for the day, very understandable. The corn beef fries were outstanding. Bartender was a good dude very helpful. One of the most beautiful bar tops I’ve sat at.

This place has mediocre food for adults and an abomination of what can only be described as dog scraps for kids. The view is nice and the location is perfect – but too bad the owners realize that the location is enough to have all tables full, and not really care about the food quality. Prices are high, as would be expected from the location, but again the food quality is lacking and you almost feel as if you were ripped off at the end of it all.

A very “okay” experience. The apps came out after the entrees . The dry rub wings were pretty good, unfortunately the sliders were gas station quality. Edible but not what you expect when dining in. Oh did I mention this is an Irish pub?
The restaurant is located in the Water Street Inn, on the south side of the building. Parking is available on both the south and north side of the building.
The patio area has a wonderful view of the river, and historic bridge.
