At our Smyrna, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Healthy grilled salmon dinner with broccoli, cold slaw, and oblong roll. Approximately $13.00. Very few customers present at 6 Pm Sunday evening. Manager and others were eager to help me understand the menu. Pleasant music in background. I want to emphasize that this appeared to be a heart healthy dinner, which is important to me. Thanks! Man in the kitchen was not polite, but manager said she would speak to him (I did not initiate a complaint, but she was on top of the situation).

Captain D’s never misses. The manager, Q, runs a great spot — friendly, professional, and on point. The tea is made fresh every day (seriously addictive ), and the fish is cooked to order, hot and fresh. Fast service, good vibes, and quality food. Definitely coming back!

This location doesn’t pay attention to their online orders. Be prepared to wait even if you order ahead of time this way.
I placed my order in Murfreesboro before starting my drive to work, hoping to save time. The online order stated is be ready in 11 mins. My drive to this Smyrna location was 13 mins. I pull up to the drive thru
and they asked me to come in because they didn’t see my order until 5 mins ago. Summer claimed to be one of the managers when I asked to speak to a manager to offer feedback for unacceptable service. She gave no
apology, said it wasn’t their fault they can’t see the order screen nor that they had orders ahead of mine. I told her I ordered, at that point, 20 mins ago. She said they had so many orders that they were running 20 mins behind. I asked if 20 mins for a fast food place was acceptable she had no answer and still no apology for missing the mark.

Standard fare, clean dining room. They were out of ice in the main machine this night…then sweet tea was off the counter. Had to go to the order area to get someone to give refills.

I came in to order food after church. The store has a really bad smell. And they don’t even have carpet and the store smell sour, it was so bad we didn’t dine in. The food was okay but the store was out of things that we ordered but they didn’t even accommodate for that. I order a salmon meal which was 11.99 it comes with 2 sides and I still had to pay 0.99 for both sides I know that food is going up. But at least make it worth the customer service.

Came in kinda late after a work meeting. Had a hung wife and kid at home. Christian took my order a pretty big one with a good attitude. He even opened every box for my approval before giving it to me. Will be back.
