At the Big Spring St. Churches Chicken in Midland, Tx I had an amazing experience because of one very special employee who went above and beyond to help me. I was having a very hectic day and had traveled all day from Houston with 3 kids in the back saying “are we there yet”. Upon going through the drive through my kids wanted to be extremely loud and the lady attempting to take my order was extremely patient, but after not being able to hear me she asked that I pull to the window. When I got to the window I apologized for my rascals being so loud…and she said …”oh its fine…I just wanted to make sure I could hear you to insure getting your order correct” and then she proceeded to ask my 12, 10, and 9 year old….”hey…who’s hungry” they all 3 said me, me,me and then she said “well if I can’t hear you mom tell me y’all’s order then how are yall gonna eat”. SILENCE! I ordered our food and then I made the statement that it’s been a long road trip from Houston. I was amazed at the employees guinune empathy when she suggested that we come in the restaurant to relax and eat. The restaurant had not become busy yet and it was the perfect suggestion. So we did come inside to eat. I don’t know if this employee was a manager or not but if she’s not she definitely should be one because I watched her multi task in that environment and it seemed like the restaurant would definitely be lost without her. Her customer service skills were excellent and I would definitely come back to eat there just to see her. I asked her for her name before leaving and she said that her name was Micha. After we got back into our car my oldest said “mama that lady was really nice to us” then I just said “yes she definitely was”. That churches chicken worked made my day! Thanks Micha!

Church’s Chicken has gone crazy with their prices. The FF pictured maybe had 30 pieces. This is a large FF for $5.29 before taxes. There is probably .50 cents, I am being generous, worth of potato. I asked for a refund and the manager on duty, Adrian, told me to come back later because he doesn’t know how. Unreal! I left the FF and with no refund. Seriously, this is ridiculous. And I go to this location several times a month. I am sure losing me as a customer means nothing to them.

We’ve noticed a huge difference in this store. The food is delicious, the service was great and it’s so clean and inviting. We’ll be regulars again. Not sure if there’s a change in ownership or management but I love the change!

The chicken we received today had more blood than the red cross. I think they gave us the chicken made by the person in training. Very disappointed with the food at this location. No biscuits, no fresh french fries, mac&cheese was more orange than yellow and cheese could be used to install tiles. Gave it 1 star because the young lady who helped us was very nice.

If you want to get food poisoning eat at this place it’s disgusting workers the food food with their hands. They don’t wear gloves and when I ask them to wear gloves and change, the sandwich the wait worker got so upset and threw the food inside the frying pot and start having attitude so I asked them for a return and I did not take the food.
