Came here with my family (wife & 3 kids, all under 7 years old) and had a great meal. The staff were really friendly and accommodating to our kids. The food was delicious and inexpensive. We will be coming here again.

Went on a Wednesday night, got seated right away, margaritas were very very good, the food came quickly & it was quite tasty. Got super busy, & the music was playing, we enjoyed everything, too much food to eat so we got leftovers for the next day. Service, food, drinks, atmospehere were all awesome, will definitely go back!!

My wife and I visited this highly rated Mexican restaurant for the first time. In several years. It’s part of a strip mall and has no outside seating. We found the interior decor very attractive. We were waited upon immediately and things got off to a good start. We enjoyed a happy hour Margarita, and got our entrees very quickly. We ordered Choripollo and Pollo Loco from the specialties menu. The food was tasty and attractively presented, although we both thought the queso was a little too salty for our taste. We got boxes for our leftovers and ordered empanadas for dessert. That’s when things went downhill. We waited about 20 minutes. No empanadas, and no attention from our waiter. We flagged down another server and asked if perhaps our empanada order had been lost. She picked up our check and vanished. We waited another 15 or 20 minutes. No empanadas, and no attention from any server. We finally got up, tracked down yet another server, got a new copy of our check, got the empanadas removed from said check, paid and left. It was an unhappy end to what had been a promising dinner. This restaurant seems to be very popular and is generally well reviewed, so I can only assume that our experience was an outlier. I certainly hope so.

Hands-down, best Mexican food! Professional service!! All the staff polite, kind!! We met Marco for our large family’s Christmas dinner…
Marco was very patient and took his time to accommodate us on what he recommended for the menu!! Marco went out of his way to deliver our food right to our place from North Liberty to our home Parnell. all I can tell you, the food was outstanding!!! phenomenal!!! We will be definitely using him for future catering services..!!!

Stopped in for a late night bite on a Friday evening. The place was still pretty busy and the music overhead is lively so be prepared for that. The service was great and food delicious. They do put cinnamon in their tacos which was interesting.

Overall 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for solid Mexican and a fair price.

Fiesta is the go-to spot in North Liberty for Mexican food. Not only is this best Mexican restaurant in the Iowa City area but the customer service is elite. The management has been around for years and does a great job even when its super busy. Highly recommend for locals & people visiting the area.

We went to fiesta in North liberty for my dad‘s birthday. On arrival we were sat without food and drink menus. We sat there and waited for about 10 minutes before somebody came and asked for a drink order and they asked without giving us a drink menu. We had to ask a different person to give us a food menu. We saw multiple people. I’m not even sure if we had a designated server. No special accommodations for birthday. No hat, no dessert. I used to eat here all the time so I was very disappointed in this experience. We tipped 20% even though I honestly feel it was undeserved.

Top notch Mexican food, probably the best in the area. The shrimp and crab nachos are amazing! Super delicious and lots of flavors. We tried the shrimp tacos and al pastor tacos – both were worth every penny.
Service is also top notch. Every waiter is so friendly and attentive.
Would definitely recommend!
