We stopped in for brunch around 9:30 am today. The pork tenderloin breakfast special caught my husband’s eye, so he ordered it, including the special’s pancake, adding blueberries. His over medium eggs were perfect. They even brought a bottle of non-gmo, no-corn-syrup blueberry syrup and pats of real butter.
I ordered a ham & egg breakfast combo, and my over-easy eggs were spot on. Their biscuit and sausage gravy was peppery perfection, and I later discovered the giant thick ham steak on my plate had been carved fresh off a big bone-in ham roast in the kitchen that morning.
REAL food.
TRUE home-cooked style.
EXCELLENT service and friendly staff.
LARGE portions to take home leftovers for a meal later.
We will be back! It was 150% worth the 45-minute drive to this sweet little farming community!!
And next time, I’m getting pie!!!

The food and atmosphere was great. I got the ham sandwich, which was not deli, and it was great. Loved the decor, and the staff was great.

Food quality….ehhh they leave the ham out all day and just cut off it. I get the every time I eat there. Service is about a 1 there too worried about regular customers. And the place is cramped like a sardine not to mention they don’t take a credit card at register

Traditional American fare. In what I’d call a diner setting. Huge selection of fresh made pies.
Grandson enjoyed a chocolate pie that looked delicious. I had an excellent made to order bacon cheese burger

This place is a landmark! I had pie for dinner here, then pie again for breakfast. A must-do for cyclists on the TransAmerica router.
