I have been wanting to try the soup here for a few years…I have forgotten on occasions then remembered cash only or check.. Today I stopped in excited and forgot cash after ordering 4 different cups of soup. The staff and likely owner on way in all amazing people id love to be around..trinkets left on the window sill, laughter, good energy. The lovely lady at counter offered me an IOU! Are you kidding me? 🙂 I did walk to corner store and got cash fyi lol..I can tell you all soups are delicious! They are my new go to. I cant wait to try more.. I love great soup and also make it..but wow..this place..yes please!

I really enjoyed the chicken curry soup and the ham, broccoli, cheddar!! The building is a bit small to handle all the foot traffic, so I was lined up outside, but def worth the wait!

This is HOME fa me!! If you’re looking for HOME COOKING SOUP it’s a vibe @Infinite Soup. Right a cross from Pierce County Alliance, in the Downtown Tacoma area right in the heart of the Town (Wink) Great service and a very small business with consistent customer support I highly recommend if you want something light on the stomach and home cooking vibe. They play old school music I’m 31 so I don’t even know how to play the Music box lmao anywaaays I recommend and give them a 10 star ⭐️ review great place. It’s a small business but a smart investment congratulations and wish this location can be spread across Washington so everyone can get a taste. God blesss and may your business be safe and prospering!!

My kids and I got soups at Infinite Soups based on a friend’s recommendation. We loved all of our soups and will definitely go back. Delicious and I just wish they had another location closer to Kent. Highly recommend!

As a soup enthusiast, I’m always searching for great soup spots, and this place caught my attention while I was in the area. Specializing exclusively in soups made fresh daily, they offer a variety of options for everyone. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They only accept cash or checks, but they kindly let me sample before purchasing. I opted for the three cheese potato soup in the largest size and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be returning to try other flavors. Note that there is no seating inside, so it’s a pick-up-and-go experience. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve been here MANY times and every time their soups are amazing. Only this time I’ve tried one that was a bit too salty for me but I was still very tasty.
IIRC the owner does a lot of community outreach and the prices are tax included which is really helpful.
They have vegetarian and vegan options, creamy and non-creamy, rolls for dipping (or whatever you want to do with those) and complimentary oyster crackers and saltines.
It is cash only so keep that in mind when you go and get soups!

Absolutely amazing soup. So far I have tried three and they are all so good.
I’ve actually never had soup this good. I can see why they sell out.
I wish I lived closer but every time I am over here I stop by.

this is a tiny hole in the wall, just a small counter and some amazing soup! friendly service, generous samples, more than reasonable prices ($6 for a cup to $8 for a pint). i got the creamy meatball as well as the curried chicken. i will definitely be back!

*** update: it’s been 3 months and i’ve been back probably 3 more times. every single time, the soup is phenomenal. my favorite so far is the curried chicken, i’ve gotten a pint every single time and it never disappoints. I’ve also tried a handful of other flavors and they have all been delicious.

One of the highlights of my last trip to Washington was visiting Infinite Soups in Tacoma, Washington. Owners Wendy Clapp and Todd Deshazo managed The News Tribune cafeteria prior to creating Infinite Soups. Their soups were by far their most popular item. They started by selling their soup at a weekly farmers market. They opened their brick and mortar location at 445 Tacoma Ave. S. in 2007.

Over the years, Infinite Soups has offered more than 1500 different types of soup. They create an estimated 100 new soup recipes each year. Clapp states, “I think soup is a democratic food, you know? Every culture eats soup. Every income level eats soup. Everybody eats soup!” The soups offered include traditional soups from all over the world. The soups are made from produce sourced from Zestful Gardens, a small organic farm and CSA in the Puyallup Valley, near Tacoma.

Infinite Soups offers 17-20 soups that are made from scratch every day. There are four categories available: Creamy, Non-Creamy, Vegetarian, and Vegan. If you want to have the most options available to you, you need to get there before 1 PM.

For my first visit on 5/17/24, I arrived about an hour before the store closed. There were just 5 options left, none of which were my preferred Creamy style soup. The young man working behind the counter, kindly offered to let me sample all five, and I did. They were all EXCELLENT! I had a hard time deciding which one to get and asked him which of these was his favorite. He recommended the Basil Artichoke (Vegetarian). I went with it. I got a 16 ounce size. Unfortunately, that late in the day there wasn’t any fresh baked bread available, so I got crackers.

There is no indoor seating at Infinite Soups, so I drove to nearby Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park. Even though the Basil Artichoke soup was Vegetarian, it was fairly creamy. The basil flavor was subtle. It tasted more like a great Artichoke soup. Now that I know about this wonderful business, I’ll be sure to visit every time I’m in town.

Highly Recommended!!!
