If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. This hidden gem has been one of my all time favorite bars in Boston. The owners and staff welcomed anyone and everyone with open arms, making this place feel like home. They also put fin decorations up during events and holidays.

Loved this place! I had read a good review on Google suggesting that the egg rolls were great. I can confirm that they are superb! Especially the Buffalo chicken and Ballpark ones This is an amazing “dive bar” which is far from a dive.

A generally nice bar, nothing too notable about its atmosphere. It has a similar feeling to many bars in the Boston area. Corner Pub is very transit accessible, just a 5 minute walk from South Station, which has transit connections for the Commuter Rail (Providence, Worcester, etc), Red Line, and Silver Line (1, 2, 3, and 4), Chinatown Gate bus connections (Silver Line 4, 501, and 504), and Lincoln Street (501 and 504 buses).

Been here on a pinch between trains or busses several times. I never review shit. I came in today and just realized how much I appreciate this place. Always clean and friendly. Accessible beer selection. Buffalo Wings were my ideal Wings style. Sauce carried heat but full of flavor. Breaded and it works for that sauce.
Service was incredible. Was some locals and college kids present for sure. No blink of an eye, whole place was supreme.

I wish there were 6 stars. Everyone here is your friend – leave your problems outside – or bring them in and anyone here will listen. Whether you’re in a Brooks Brothers 3-piece cut high and tight or rocking Vans with dreds you have a home here. It’s a comfy bar with attentive service, good food, and it’s a downtown location (5 minute walk from South Station, on the edge of Chinatown) that will not break the bank. Students, financiers (not the cake), and locals mesh well. If you visit once, you’ll want to visit again.

Had a great time my first time coming here, my second time was horrible. The owner, Pam or whatever was incredibly disrespectful and talked down to everyone she interacted with. When someone called her out on it she spent the next 30 minutes hugging and handholding people profusely telling them how nice she is. Pam, if you need to keep insisting that you are a good person and that you are nice, you probably aren’t. Just marinate in that introspectively for a second. Food for thought! Little pun there for you.

This bar is probably the cause for a lot of people missing their trains or deciding on a later one. Bit of a dive bar vibe but in all the good ways. No frills but decent prices on the drinks and friendly service. Music was playing at a decent volume for the time of evening and all in all my favourite bar of the day and I will definitely return.

Go for the drinks, and go for the food at your own risk. Wasn’t expecting anything on the Michelin rating when it came to food, as i know what type of place it is and generally love myself a good dive bar, but was pretty disappointed when the chowder came out lukewarm, like it had been nuked right out of the freezer.

I’ve come back to the Corner Pub quite often now. Mostly to see my new friend Fran the pink flamingo. Their food is delicious and service great. Their steak sandwich and grilled cheese are amazing and try all their eggrolls. Pam and Matt the owners have been so kind to me and my family during this difficult time. They also generously provided lunch and dinner to the nurses and doctors taking care of my husband at Tufts CSICU.
Stop by and check it out, especially if you are coming into the city by commuter rail. You are steps away from South Station.. and “there’s always another train”
I’m staying in Boston while my husband is in the hospital. I wandered in one evening because the sign on the door caught my attention. The rest of the signs decorations make me smile. The bartender/server was so good on a Monday night, Mike I believe his name was, I thought he owned the place. Food was great and service too.
I’ve been back two more times and met the owner Pam. She is very kind and caring. Definitely stop in here when coming and going from south Station. . Close to Chinatown and Tufts Medical Center .
