This place is filled with love and amazing food. We walked in before moving our stuff into a storage unit and were greeted with delicious smells and friendly smiles.
When we were scanning the menu, there were a lot of things we wanted to try. We were deciding between crab legs and chicken wings and opted for the wings as we didn’t want to get too messy while dining in. After tasting the food, we regretted not getting the crab legs ALSO. Along with the wings, we got stuffed jumbo shrimp with mac n cheese and string beans. All the food was so good. Even the strawberry lemonade was yummy.
The space itself is intimate and it feels like you’re at a friend’s or family’s home. It just feels like a lot of love. Not only that, they have an open kitchen so you can literally see the ingredients they use and how they cook their food. If you’re looking for some delicious food, you won’t regret ordering from here.

OMG – NEVER AGAIN!!! The food was cooked in old grease. My fries came wrapped in foil which caused them to be extra soggy, the chicken has two different colors (brown on one side and beige on the other) and the fish looks as if it came out of the frozen section in the market (that’s the only place I see small portions of flounder).

I’m definitely enjoying my platter I had no issues with my portion size my wings taste like they came off the grill..Mac nice and cheesey I love broccoli and I had some potatoes salad only thing I didn’t like about it was to much relish for ME..I have high blood pressure so I’m glad nothing was salty to me it was just right.Some said bland just add ur own salt then..I always return

When I say the food was so delicious and the big portion this is the best I have eaten in a long time. My husband truly loved his mussels, and shrimp platter. I will definitely order again very tasty!!!

This place was horrible!!!!!!!! It’s a soul food restaurant without the soul. Food had little to no seasoning… 10/22/2024 @ 4;30 pm it was a Tuesday… don’t ever waste your money. Food was just tasteless… bland as hell and they cooked the chicken fresh. Fried chicken supposed to be crunchy not chewy skin… the worst soul food I ever had…. I mean that the owner should be shot for disrespecting the community like this. It is Philly they’re not known for soul food stick to cheesesteaks and pizza hoagies … so disgusting

Never have I been in a restaurant where the person cooking your food is so concerned with food contamination. This was so impressive, she change her gloves after each item she touch. So often I go into restaurants and the staff to me our under the impression that the gloves are to keep there hands clean so handling money and food is alright. I don’t remember her name, but next time I’m in Philadelphia pa the Legends of Seafood is the spot. Let’s not forget the other two ladies so professional. Thanks for a wonderful experience, the fried shrimp and sweet potato was great as well.

The reviews are misleading. I patronized this place because of the high reviews. I ordered 6 fried wings, greens, & Mac and cheese. I paid $18 for it. When I seen the portions, I felt it was over priced. The wings were very small but over cooked. They were hot and fresh, but they were just over cooked to where it was slightly tough. After that, because I paid so much money for them, I was seconds away from asking for my money back, but I didn’t. NONE of the food was seasoned. The greens tasted like “perhaps” someone just put them in vinegar and served them, and the Mac& cheese looked really good , but I took one bite of it and I couldn’t finish it. It was bland with a weird taste taste that stood out. It was like “maybe” they used the same spoon as something else when they prepared it? IDK?! But honestly, I’m not a big critic with food. But the food here was HORRIBLE. I want disappointed. I won’t be back. I don’t mind paying for good food. Just make sure the price matches the quality of the food.

We ordered 15 pounds of cooked and seasoned crab legs for pickup for a small dinner gathering, and not only was the crab fresh but the customer service was great. The price was super reasonable, too, and the crab came with butter & garlic sauce. Delicious! We will definitely order from them again!
