Deserve trying !
We ordered the Veggie Galore Pizza, and honestly, I have never had a more disappointing pizza in my life. It came topped with uncooked tomato cubes and arugula on a basic cheese base. It was overloaded with raw tomatoes, and the flavor was so off-putting that I felt nauseated after the first bite.
We also tried the pretzels, which were somehow even worse. You can see the oil pooling in the dish from the picture I’ve attached. When we asked, they confirmed it was palm oil, which was concerning because someone in our group has an allergy. Definitely not the best choice of oil for cooking.
On top of the food issues, the service made things more uncomfortable. The waitress greeted us with “Namaste” and made comments about our culture, which felt borderline mocking and inappropriate.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had — bad food, questionable ingredients, and uncomfortable service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Leavenworth Pizza Company is usually a solid stop when we’re in town. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is casual, and the rotating tap list is always a nice touch. Their pizza options are normally great, which is why we’ve returned multiple times.
A couple things to be aware of: there’s no kids menu, and during busy seasons it’s pretty clear they’re trying to turn over tables quickly. Long waits are common during peak tourist months and the winter.
The menu also fluctuates heavily around the holidays. This year, we came in late November specifically hoping to enjoy the gluten-free pizza we loved earlier in the year, only to find out that the winter/holiday menu cuts all gluten-free options entirely—leaving only a salad (minus the croutons). It was disappointing and nearly made us leave.
We ended up ordering a salad, and while dining in, the staff decided it would be “quicker” to put it in a to-go box instead of serving it on a plate, which felt a little odd for eating in-house.
Overall, it’s a good spot when the full menu is available, with friendly staff and solid pizza. Just know that seasonal menu changes, the lack of GF options in winter, no kids menu, and the fast table turnover vibe may affect your experience—especially if you have dietary needs or small kids.
We got pizza, garlic bread and one small salad and for drinks, I got a lemonade, my daughter got apple juice and my husband Shirley Temple.
Really clean and delicious food.
They also had a bar +21.
The pizza was delicious, with a generous amount of toppings. Just be cautious when adding anything extra, though.
It was our first time visiting Leavenworth Pizza Company, and the food was crazy good. The pizzas were handcrafted to perfection, the sauces made in-house, and everything had that authentic, homestyle flavor we absolutely loved. We were also impressed by the wide variety of pizzas and drinks—something for everyone!
What truly made our visit memorable was the outstanding service. From our friendly waitress Sarah, to the talented cook Ben, and the warm welcome from the owner Tara, every part of the experience felt personal and genuine.
Thank you all for such an incredible first visit—we’ll definitely be back soon!
