omakase all over the world but we’ve never had one with this level of variety. Chef David is incredible!!! He truly understands what omakase means: letting the chef choose a diverse, thoughtful selection that reflects his craft and personality!! His collection of the choices were amazing
While wandering through Las Vegas, I discovered a truly exceptional local sushi spot—far from the usual touristy places. Right from the start, the food surprised me in the best way. One of the first dishes I had was a clam topped with a creamy sauce. It was rich yet tangy, and absolutely delicious—an unexpected highlight.
Then came the Japanese oysters, which completely changed the game for me. They were smaller than what I’m used to, but that’s exactly what made them so special. Unlike the big, mushy oysters I’ve tried elsewhere, these had a clean, refined flavor—delicate yet deeply satisfying. It felt like each one was treated with the utmost care, and the taste reflected that.
But the real surprise was the monkfish liver. I’ve never been a fan—it’s usually too fishy for me—but this one was different. The chef told me they prepare it in-house, not the pre-packaged kind. And wow. It was incredibly creamy with absolutely no off-putting taste. I actually paused to savor it. That never happens with me and ankimo.
Every dish felt personal, thoughtful, and full of craftsmanship. This place isn’t just another sushi restaurant—it’s a hidden gem where the focus is truly on quality and flavor.
I walked in expecting a meal. I left feeling inspired. That’s why I’m writing this.
Got the special number 1 roll that has soft shell crab. When I got the roll, I was hard pressed to find any soft shell in the roll. Plus the roll was already swimming in sauce and comes with another sauce in the side.
Clearly to drown out fish.
Yellow tail hand roll with scallion was much better for those who truly love sushi.
Really enjoyed the hand roll.
For 2 sushi my cost was $40.
Not much better than my favorite AYCE places.
The seafood, veggies, and fruit were all very fresh. We made the mistake of ordering too much food, but they did an excellent job at packing up our sushi rolls into a leftover container and even gave us a little bag of ice for transport. Loved all the rolls and presentation. I also have to add that they offered us training chopsticks since we were struggling. Amazing!
Upon receiving our orders, we were immediately captivated by the presentation of each sushi dish we ordered. Each piece looked like a work of art, enticing our taste buds with its vibrant colors and meticulous arrangement. The Clam Miso soup was truly amazing.
Needless to say, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. We left the restaurant with a promise to return soon.
The restaurant’s décor is still nice and the prices are still very reasonable. I’m not certain how long it will take until my next re-visit, but hopefully it won’t take 3 years again. I’m not necessarily a fan of where this restaurant is located, but it definitely isn’t unsafe either. I highly recommended this restaurant in my original review and I’m going to continuously recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Great place to eat. The staff are very friendly and the prices are comparable to other sushi restaurants in Las Vegas. The restaurant size doesn’t seem like it would accommodate a very large party (10+); however, I enjoyed the smaller feel to it…kind of reminded me of the traditional Japanese sushi houses in Tokyo. I highly recommend to everyone…my daughter and I had a great time there.
