Attentive service and generous portions, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Baoding in South Park. We had the scallops, Hunan chicken, general tsao, and Thai curry.

Amazing food! Where do you even start? Everything we ordered was great! All of our dishes were flavorful and cooled to perfection. The staff was helpful to guide us through the menu and give us suggestions.Can’t wait to visit again!

I ordered the egg foo young and asked them to replace the shrimp and chicken with tofu. They did remove the shrimp and chicken. But they put the tofu on the side which was weird. And the wasteful amount of soy sauce they gave away for two entrees is wild. Overpriced dish but maybe they charged me for the soy sauce . Prices are too high. Probably won’t go back but it was just ok.

I had high hopes for Baoding but unfortunately it is a huge letdown.
I do have to give credit to my server…she was awesome!

The steamed dumplings were ok but the main course? Terrible!
Fried rice that pretty much isn’t fried and whereas the beef? I was able to pull
Out the protein and eat it in two spoons.
Egg Foo Young, forget it. A giant salt bomb. I’ve been enjoying egg foo young since I was 6 years old. I asked the guy delivering it what the heck was it and why was it covered in gravy already.
He just spouts at me “That’s how egg foo young always served”

The server said she would remove it from my check (which she did) but not one manager came to the table to ask questions or offer solutions.
Therefore I will finish with…this is a pretentious restaurant masquerading as a Chinese restaurant.
Skip this place.
Oh more thing…Peking duck is served as breast leg and thigh bone in the leg…not here

Looking for a place to eat the other night and stumbled onto this place. Started with vegetable egg rolls which were great. I had the chicken sesame which was really good, not too sweet like some. My wife had sweet and sour pork and enjoyed it. Service was really good.

Always a great experience at Baoding Restaurant across from SouthPark Mall. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot, with generous portions and friendly service. The decor is pretty, just wish the booth’s seating could be upgraded. Other than that, it’s the perfect spot for a tasty meal after shopping — we’ll definitely be back.

We had a party of 10 tonight and were put in a private room. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. The Baoding duck was excellent. Not spicy and not sweet. The duck was very tender and served with a nice side of vegetables. The Generals chicken. Was the best I have ever had and consisted of large pieces of white meat. The white and brown rice was served family style and there was plenty of it. Service was very good and pricing was well worth it. This is one of the best Asian restaurants in the area.
