I stopped by Los Chapos Tacos and decided to try the taco birria and a chicken burrito, and both were absolutely delicious! The birria tacos were packed with flavor, the meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The consommé on the side was rich and flavorful, making every bite even better when dipped in. The chicken burrito was just as impressive, filled with plenty of chicken, rice, beans, and fresh toppings that made it super satisfying. The food came out hot and freshly made and everything tasted authentic and homemade. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from their menu next time!!

Last Saturday I told my wife that I wanted to go try tacos some place different. We ended up at Los Chapos Tacos and let’s just say we left out of there happy and full. We sat outside I had steak tacos and carnitas my Wife had shrimp tacos outstanding! Talk about a good yum!! We both had margaritas I had the watermelon and my wife had a classic (after my nap I woke up with a headache tequila was rail) but the margaritas were still refreshing strong and tasty. Food was great and so was the service if your in the area or curious Los Chapos Tacos has it going on.

The food has flavor, but for example, Nachos could have a little bit more she sauce. They are dry the tacos they’re good but the consome it’s a bit too watery but what really threw me off was their dessert it’s not the first time that we got a 3 leches And it is completely filled with the whipped cream and less than a quarter of the actual cake is cynical because is 7-8 dollar

I’m trying to choose my words carefully here—every Mexican restaurant has its own style, but this one just might not be for me.
First, the positives: the staff is friendly and helpful.
That said, being my first visit (and probably my last), I wasn’t sure if the heavy grease smoke lingering in the dining area is normal or just an unfortunate coincidence that day.
Another drawback was that a basic item like tap water wasn’t available. The only options were purchasing a bottled or premium bottled water.
As for the food, I ordered a variety of tacos, but none left a memorable impression. The yellow rice had color, but little flavor to match.

If you’re ever in Brandon and craving authentic, flavorful tacos with service that feels like home, run to Los Chapos Tacos! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and inviting—but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our server, Stephanie.
Stephanie greeted us with the warmest smile, and we instantly connected when we discovered we both share a love for Jesus Christ. Her light shined brightly, and it wasn’t just her faith—it was her heart for people. She was incredibly open, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Her customer service was top-tier; she knew the menu inside and out, answered all of our questions with ease, and made excellent recommendations.
What truly blew me away was the attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. I mentioned that I prefer my jalapeños chopped by hand, and guess what? They did exactly that—just for me. That level of care is rare and so appreciated.
Los Chapos Tacos has officially earned a loyal customer. Great food, even better service, and a Christ-filled connection I won’t forget. Thank you, Stephanie—you made our visit a true blessing!

Small restaurant but is really pretty. Love the name Los Chapos Tacos is really original. You can see the specials from outside , and as soon you are inside the restaurant, everything smells really good ! The Guy that takes the orders has a good vibe and very relax and with a great customer service. I order 2 Taquitos 1 of chicharron and omg really delicious and tasty the other one barbacoa. ( but nothing like the chicharron) . They served the taquitos with green & red salsa with queso fresco. My husband ordered a Pineapple agua Fresca and it was fresh and rica ! Outside is super hot so this was very refreshing. Would love to comeback here with my teenagers. I’m sure they would love it to! Congratulations for this business! Que Ricos tacos !

Delicious tacos. Generous fillings, high quality meat and shrimp, fresh toppings, and the most tender homemade corn tortilla that didn’t fall apart. The green and red homemade salsas had a bit of a kick and were the perfect complement. Place has wonderfully friendly staff, and the seating areas inside and out are super super clean too. I’ll definitely be back – already looking forward to next time!

Nice little taco shop hidden away in a shopping plaza. The decor is gorgeous and quaint. We tried a lot of the tacos. All good and very tasty. It’s not a traditional approach to Mexican cuisine, and if you’ve eaten tacos all over Mexico you may have a different opinion on the tacos, but they’re delicious nonetheless. The service was excellent. Jessica and Endiah were fabulous, very sweet and attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. This place is definitely worth a try if you’re in the mood for tacos and good service.

I ate the steak burrito and it was pretty good, but it could have had more steak. My wife had steak tacos which she said was good.

Bland tacos that are over-priced. $4.95 for a small scoop of meat with onions on top. Awesome. Also, aquafina? These “street tacos” should be $2.50 a piece MAX. Never again.
