Literally never have stepped foot in this place- soley have ordered through Grubhub countless times and I live a pretty bit away, the food is always phenomenal when it arrives, makes me wonder just how good some of these sandwiches are right of the kitchen! 200/10!

Great experience! Elly’s is a great local dive bar. When I rated 5 stars, I am not comparing to non-dive bars lol. I had soft pretzels and an all-American burger with fries – both were excellent and we had all the condiments we wanted! Elly’s has extremely reasonable prices and specials, good variety of food and alcohol for all tastes. They clearly have a big local following and the staff is super fun.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch, and one of the specials was burgers & fries or chips. Since I love burgers that’s what I ordered.
That burger was so delicious! Usually I don’t finish a burger, but I ate every bite of it. The fries were just as good.
The service was amazing, and the waitress was very pleasant.
It was such a great lunch!

This establishment has been a staple for over 30 years, now under new ownership for a couple of years who have been doing an outstanding job. The DJ Ted, is amazing who brings the latest & old skool music we love, who performs on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have some good food, like their delicious wings, appetizers, and burgers. After 10 PM, they offer happy hour specials like 5 wings for $5 and a $5 menu. It’s a great spot to watch games, hang out with friends, and enjoy cocktails. The waitstaff and bartenders are highly praised, making it a great local venue.

Not sure if they know this but how they put people in the computer shows on the receipt. Not quite sure what big back means but I definitely know I’m not the young couple Because I was wearing a jersey. Also $1.50 for 2 ounces of dressing or extra seasoning because your kitchen did didn’t put enough on my wings is absolutely ridiculous. I understand maybe $.50 or $.75 but $1.50 for 2 ounces is absurd.

At first we were the only table in the dining room. And it took 20 mins for menus and drinks. It did get busy by the time our food arrived but we were never given opportunity to get another cocktail or water. 30 minutes after we finished eating and still nothing to drink I finally found a waitress willing to bring me our check. Not sure why our table was ignored …. we observed other tables getting pretty normal service and friendly “regulars etiquette” just fine except for ours and one other across from us. Sorry if it was because we looked a little disheveled and off the streets we had been basically living at st clair hospital for the last few days spending the last hours with my mother and i just needed to finally eat something and see my family……… the food was definitely good but its not some place I’d go out of my way to eat at given my experience. I worked in the service industry for a long time and I definitely recognize the difference between being busy and selectively ignoring your customer base.

Ordered on Toast for delivery. Horrible. First this is not “Rovers”. It’s Elly’s. If you have to hide the name that should say everything. Next an entire meal was left behind. The Fish is so so so gross.
Super low quality cheap slimy fish. Just gross. Very thin and tasteless Took over 2 hours to finally get here. So add cold to that. Never ever again. AND THEY CHARGED ME $12 for the delivery!!! The restaurant not the app.

I spent $35 on a burger and salad with potato pancakes the first time I had them they were so good I got them again end time they were a little dark and super greasy this time they were charcoal I don’t mind one bad experience but every single one after the first time it’s been garbage they legit tasted like charged breading !!!
