Food is excellent. Don’t think there’s a “bad” item on the menu. Definitely recommended. Large portions. I’m a big fan of the Stromboli, it’s huge. Always end up with a to-go box.

Frankie’s what a surprise to find an Italian eatery like this in a town the size of Mexia Tx. I come here often and have never had anything other than exceptional food y far better than the big chain Italian restaurants. My favorite go to is the Veal piccata. Their hand tossed pizzas are delicious with good quality ingredients. If you’re in the area and looking for Dinner give Frankie’s a try you’ll be back.

We we’re seated immediately, our server Kelsie greeted instantly and her introduction was spot on. She has a welcoming demeanor, she is fantastic. The food was splendid. Loving the new atmosphere, the new menus, and the new bowls. A+ on everything. No complaints!

It was a horrible experience. Ordered salad and entree. I had to remind waitress about and salad multiple times. If that was not bad enough, five others tables (different waitresses) ordered – got their salads and bread immediately, food soon to follow. Where was our entrees? I had to get manager to finally get our entrees. Ask for additional bread and waitress left it in service window. By this time we were done and got take out containers. I went to pay and commented about horrible service and no compensation for problems was offered. Our waitress was the WORST waitress I have ever encountered! It will be awhile before I return!

This place is a gem, great atmosphere, delicious food, fresh ingredients, super friendly staff and owner! We had the Frankie’s combo, which has chicken Parmesan, lasagna and Alfredo. We did add chicken to one of the Alfredo which was awesome.
