If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I came all the way from Dallas and I was told this was one of the best spot for African cuisine only for me to get OLD STALE FOOD. The fish was so old and bad. I’m highly disappointed I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I absolutely love coming to this restaurant. The African food here is amazing, full of flavor, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I live in New Jersey, and I honestly don’t mind driving 45 minutes just to eat here because it’s that good. The quality and taste are worth every minute of the drive. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious African food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The platters arrived hot, which I appreciated, and the two bags of Kallah looked okay. Unfortunately, my egusi was overly salty and mostly fat with barely any neck bones. The fufu was just okay.

This African restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is full of flavor and tastes authentic and freshly made. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really makes the experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and inviting—you can tell they take pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

This place has completely fallen off, I ordered food from here several times in the past but my last two experiences have been horrible. Today 12/7/24 I ordered palava Sauce and my dish was very dry with no taste, no flavor and so sauce. They typically put different types of meat in sauce but today was only chicken. My rice was extremely overcooked and very mushy. It was so bad that I couldn’t bring myself to eat any of it. I will never come here again.

This is by far the worse African cuisine restaurant near Philly. I experienced multiple occasions of missing or burnt food in my orders. The staff is unapologetic about longer wait times and running out of food to meet your order requirements. I experienced the rudest woman at the front desk on 12/20 that completely stopped me from purchasing here ever again. She completely ignored me as I asked her when my order would be ready and had a nasty attitude of entitlement when answering phones and taking other people’s orders. I waited two hours for one order and exemplified a ton of patience. Not to mention seeing rats playing by the back door of their establishment. The quality has been downgraded and they’ve become money greedy taking on too many orders via phone, in-person, and other food online ordering apps. Bring back quality and respect to your customers and stop the greed. I would never recommend this place to anyone even for their last meal. I’ve never left review on restaurant until today.

Let’s start on the food it was absolutely nasty, first of all it came cold, my cassava leaf was not spicy at all, and my mom found a huge roach in her potato greens. Now the service, the cashier took way too long to come to the cash register and both men there had their cracks all the way out. Other than that the place just doesn’t look up to date, they used to be really good clearly but that went all downhill, i will never eat there again.

I always get the same order, peanut butter soup with fufu, everytime. Never once have I deviated from my order. They instead gave me fish and rice. Due to allergy I cant eat fish. That detail is in the Uber eats notes. They gave me the wrong order. The driver is at fault as well for not checking the order.

I drove over an hour due to hearing good things only to be given the wrong platter. I ordered lamb and was given tilapia. When I called to see if they would have take a remake another day the staff member female was rude told me to bring back the food when explained I lived over an hour away she hung up the phone. I had to call more than 7 times before a “manager” got on the phone. This is poor poor customer service. If that was not bad enough when picking up my food I used the bathroom and there was not soap in the bathroom. I should have known then to cancel the order and run far far away. I mean how are the employees being sanitary after using the bathroom . Absolutely unacceptable!
