We stopped here to get some appetizers and to try their Maine lobster roll. They have a cute little indoor room and the windows were open on a beautiful afternoon. The service was good and the waitress friendly. We got the mozzarella sticks and the swordfish bites, which were both great. However, the lobster roll, as others have said, left little to be desired. It might be the most pathetic looking lobster roll I’ve ever had, and really had no flavor to boot. That was unfortunate and very disappointing, as that was the main reason for our visit.

I first tried their lobster roll at a recent seafood festival in Belmar, and I was blown away instantly. I had to make sure that I made this place one of my first stops during my little Jersey Shore getaway this past weekend.
This place is a seafood market and restaurant. The restaurant part is a bit small with limited seating. They have a good-sized menu and food here is a bit costly, but it is so worth it. I got the lobster roll with fries, and everything was fantastic. The fries alone had great flavor and a real kick to them. The hot lobster roll was just as great as the one I had a week before.
The staff here is really nice, the service is quick and the establishment is clean. The only thing is that they don’t serve alcohol.
I definitely recommend as I rate their lobster roll as the best in the Jersey Shore!

Fast friendly service with great food. We got the swordfish bites, which were cooked perfectly. Blackened Fish and shrimp tacos, which had a great sauce on them. Clam chowder could have been a bit warmer but was still delicious. Great aesthetic and vibe.

recently had dinner here with friends and had a great time. The fish was the freshest we have had in a long time. If your looking for a fancy setting, this isn’t it. If your looking for great seafood and BYOB, than definitely come here for lunch or dinner.
My one con at this experience was when I clearly ordered a caeser side salad and the fried shrimp dinner with the seasoned fries. Well, I end up getting a caeser salad with friend shrimp in it and a side order of seasoned fries. Combined, I probably ended up paying a buck or 2 more than if it was the way I ordered it. I know it was NOT done deliberately, just that the waitstaff, as nice and friendly as they were, just need to pay a bit more attention to the orders.
I will def be back next time I am in the area!

We were greeted by a kind & welcoming hostess, and we were sat inside. We ordered the tuna nachos, lobster bisque and two hot lobster rolls. The food was very very fresh and delicious. I really like the texture of the wontons and the lobster roll Knocked my socks off.

The food and the atmosphere was great. The lobster roll is amazing, I think the best! The Lobster Mac and Cheese was really good. Shrimp were good but over fried for my preference. The place is small but cozy and cute. The service was was good. They have dining out with around 8 sets of table with chairs to seat. Would come back

I got 2 lobster rolls for $60. Worst lobster rolls I have ever had. For 30 bucks I would expect somthing gourmet with butter and garnish. The rolls I got had no butter no seasoning and were served on a soggy
hotdog bun. The lobster was very chewy as well. They contained bits of shell in them too. I’ve gotten lobster rolls SO much better for 10 dollars cheaper at other places. I went back for a refund and was reimbursed.

Incredible food and great service, all around 5 stars. When I saw the prices on the menu I was expecting small portions but I was extremely surprised. The lobster roll, which I shared, and flat bread with scallops was so much food that I could barely put a dent in the basket of Old Bay seasoned fries that I ordered. If you’re looking for fresh seafood and a laid back atmosphere this is your place.

My wife never had a lobster roll. When she told me she wanted one, I packed up the car and we had a road trip to Maine. Had I known how good Point Lobster Co was, we would have saved a ton in gas!
Best lobster rolls we’ve had and that includes the popular spots in Maine. The tuna nachos are killer. This is now one of our favorite places to eat.

I came here because of the hype, but the food was mediocre at best. My wife and I both ordered lobster rolls, she got the hot roll on wet soggy roll, had the server re do the roll. I ordered the Diablo lobster roll, my daughter had the chicken tenders and fries. All fries were served cold and stale. They were all stuck together. I tried some of her roll, not a drop of butter or flavor. I was very surprised for a place touting the best lobster roll in New Jersey. I hate to knock a small business. But I will never come here again. I hope this review gets taken with constructive criticism, and the food being served goes through some form of quality control. Visually the first impression was great, until you start eating it.
