Been going to this dairy queen for 4 years now. I have up on them a year ago due to under cooked food bad portions unfriendly staff and lack of cleanliness. Decided to give them another chance out of convience for my family tonight. We ordered $75 worth of food and i was really upset at the portions. We got the “family” or “basket” of onion rings and cheese curds and there was hardly any food in it. The onion rings cost $10 and there was like 16 rings in there and half of them were the size of a quarter. The basket of cheese curds cost $19 and it was like 3 smalls. Even the sides of fries that came with the meals I ordered and then paid more for were extremely lacking. There wasnt even texas toast with the 2 large chicken finger meals i ordered. I will say thay staff friendliness has finally improved. Even the food has gotten has gotten more fresh but it’s a total rip off. I’ll attach the only photo i took. 10$ for that…. yeah we wont be back. Such a let down i used to get both my sons birthday cakes here every year but not after tonight.

This Dairy Queen location is amazing. Food is always hot and fresh. Always friendly service and a clean establishment. And it’s one of only two in the state that serves breakfast!!!

Always had good experiences going out to this Dairy Queen. This is a reliable place to go out for ice cream and great food. Friendly, competent staff; they’re patient even with large orders and good at serving everything fresh & well made. Never received a cold sandwich or had an item missing from our bag. Really enjoyed trying out the New York Cheesecake Royal Blizzard, their vanilla soft serve has the classic DQ flavor I’m looking for when dining with this chain. Best of all they add a generous helping of toppings and mix-ins to the ice cream, I highly recommend especially if you’re craving sweets!

Man I am disappointed in The amount of fries given every time we order. It is literally every order has a different amount. They are supposed to weigh the fries but fail to do so every time. Some times I feel ripped off by the amount provided even though I don’t complain at all about the set costs. I fully understand the cost in running a business and don’t have any complaints about the proces nor the service. The service is great every time we go. But fries are the cheapest part of any meal and to cut the customer short on that part of the meal is unheard of. I really don’t expect to be given half when I pay full price. Both images are from the same order, same time, same prep, different meals. See the difference?

This isn’t the first time that they’ve left food items out of my to-go order. Whenever I order a combo meal, usually one thing is missing. I’m going to start checking the orders before leaving, assuming that I return.

I always stop here when passing through Las Animas. Staff are always friendly and courteous! The restaurant is always kept clean and up to date. Also, for 7.00+ you can get their country platter which will fill you up.

5 stars for fast food quality. Quick hot food every time I go. I have to argue myself not to drivers there from La Junta.
Better products and better pricing for what you get compared to LJ “burger” options.
