Agree with others that the shaking beef as well as pho is very good. Broth is darker than most, but very beefy. Shaking beef is very tender , and the flavor from the seasoned wok is delicious. You can tell they serve tons of it. Conveniently located on the edge of B8, it offers a great alternative when it is not convenient to travel down to Bellaire. Dishes are good portion size and also a great value compared to the newer places opening up. Came in for dinner rush and the staff was great, order was taken almost immediately and food came out hot and on time. Drinks were always refilled and dirty plates removed. You won’t be disappointed by food or service. Plenty of parking in well lit lot and very clean. Will be back for lunch

The food is delicious. Large menu with a variety of choices. The grilled calamari is fantastic. My daughter loved the Pho. The service staff are attentive. This little restaurant is a great find.

Went to the Kroger today and on the back of my receipt were several coupons for this place for buy one entree, get one free on it saying it was good until October. I thought it would be a good day to try it. I went up there in person after work with the coupon in my hand, and he tells me immediately that the coupons are no good anymore. They canceled the deal with Kroger. I told him I just received the coupon today at Kroger and it says it is good til October. They looked at it, but they did not care. I was there in person, they should have just honored it. If I really liked the food, I would be back as a regular customer. I live right around the corner. I guess they don’t need new customers. Based on my experience today, I won’t be back so I’ll never get to try the food.
***update*** I did end up trying the food and it was yummy . As you can see the owner sent a reply to my initial review. I appreciated and respected this reply so much I decided to give them a second chance. The staff was very kind this time and recognized me from the day before. The coupon was honored. The owner could not be there, but his dad was and we took this picture. I will be back.

Calamari, sour soup and chicken sticky rice were really good. Shaking beef was just okay. Restaurant was small. 2 of their servers were nice and 1 female server was too unfriendly. She didn’t acknowledge us when we first arrived and was playing on the phone while we waited to pay at the register… Very odd interaction. We do want to be back and try more dishes.

Decent food! Shaking beef was yummy, but the fried rice was so dry and flavorless. Pork chop was decent as well as the egg cake. Fish sauce pork was good. Nice staff though! Ca khó was delicious too. But I do NOT recommend the fried rice. And for the normal rice, it was a little dry too.

I’ve gotten take out a handful of times here. The food is consistently good. They have tofu options for those who are vegetarian. The general tso and orange chicken here are food. Will venture out and try other dishes.

This is a decent Vietnamese Chinese place in Cypress, better than most in the area. While it’s pretty pricey, the family size portions are fairly big and tastes as good as expected. There are a few hidden gem dishes, such as the fried calamari and bird’s nest dish, but everything else is good too. Service is nice and there’s a lot of options and seating. Overall not a place I’d go to every time, but a good choice in the area and has a few great dishes.

Love the authentic food here. Canh chua is savory and flavorful – this is the best in town. Ca kho to is good. Shaking tofu tastes soooo good . Menu is huge so I need to make a lot of trips to try them all. Highly recommend this place.

Walking in, the restaurant is pretty cold. We were greeted by the waiters and they were nice. Not the most attentive and forgot to refill our water. I had the crispy flat noodles with beef and Chinese broccoli and it was cooked perfectly in my opinion. The fish sauce pork ribs were braised well. The pho has a good portion. The broth is super flavorful and there is a lot of meat in the bowl. It’s an extra 3 dollars to upgrade to a large but worth it in my opinion. The waiter gave me a little bit of a look when I asked for cooked bean sprouts. The banh mi was crispy. We got the banh mi ga nuong and it tasted pretty good. I wish there was more meat and some pate to make it worth $6. Overall I really enjoy this restaurant. There’s a large variety of Chinese and Vietnamese items to try.

I dropped by this spot since I was in the mood for something other than fast food. Hadn’t eaten all day so I got me a beef banh mi and a pork and egg roll vermicelli. Absolutely the best pork Ive had at a Vietnamese joint, juicy and tender with just the perfect amount of char. Banh mi was solid as well, bread wasn’t too crunchy like at some other places. I was absolutely delighted with my experience, I’m coming back for sho
