It didn’t look like much, and the new digital sign is very hard to read because it’s too dim. But the custard is so smooth and creamy! The chocolate and vanilla were excellent. The strawberry flavor was a little fake for my liking. However they fill the cone with custard. Just be prepared that they only take cash.

Strawberry custard is the best I get it when I can. Just needs more garbage cans and a better seating area.
Update: 2023 They did get more seating . But they got rid of the food menu, grandson was bummed he loved those French fries. I tried the milk free apple strudel and it definitely sounded better than it tasted.

Cute and delicious custard stand. Hard ice creams by Perry’s plus soft serve custard, chocolate, vanilla, and twist are always available plus a special custard flavor that changes every 3 days. Fb pages list current and next flavor. Some past flavors were pistachio, black raspberry, blueberry, tangerine, lemon, peach, banana, maple, and strawberry.

Excellent ice cream! We were headed from Pittsburgh to Erie and we decided to stop at Young’s for a cold treat. It didn’t disappoint. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was their menu board which was a couple of TV screens behind the window was just about impossible to read and was rotating through items. A paper menu posted in the window would have saved me ten minutes trying to red the menu patiently awaiting the part of the menu to come around that I wanted to read. It also was nearly invisible in the sun.

Delicious ice cream. My only complaint would be having more outside seating. There are two trees and picnic tables. It’s fun to sit there.but It needs weeded and cleaned up. There were people sitting on the concrete next to the building to stay in the shade.

We have not been there in a while since the Youngs retired and new owners took over. It was on the busy side, but the line moved quickly. We got a couple medium custard cones and a pup cup. The custard was on the soft side ( no surprise with how busy) but still delicious. We found that the new owners have carried on serving great ice-cream and service.

My husband and I were looking for a good old fashioned ice cream stand after moving to cranberry this summer and we love this place. Quick service and delicious ice cream. We love the flavored soft serve rotating menu. Also the best chocolate milkshake ever! So far we have loved the black raspberry, tangerine, and blueberry the most. Always a good view of the sunset at Young’s too.

What a great find! We drove by as we were leaving Brush Creek Park and saw the lot was PACKED! So we stopped to see what the commotion was about. Well, we were not disappointed! The ice cream was fantastic! My waffle cone was delicious and the pistachio ice cream was so good, I begged my boyfriend to trade! Highly recommend
