Food was good. I had the pork chop with creamy polenta, very good. My wife had the pizza and said it wasn’t bad. Im glad I went with the pork chop. The service was good, staff very friendly and kind. Very small intimate setting but it was a cute date night.

We go to Idyllwild monthly to meet friends for a late lunch at Ferro, always our favorite! I have enjoyed several items from the menu, especially Tiramisu!! (We are often so eager to eat, we forget to take food pics, but yesterday I did remember to snap my delicious spaghetti & meatballs.) I also took a pic of some interesting cocktails to show my son, who is a bartender.

It’s very, very crowded. The patio in the front is small and dog friendly but it’s really chaotic since people are always checking in and lining up. I wasn’t a huge fan of my spaghetti or the broccolini. But the people were nice.

Wonderful cocktails. Everything from the olives and breadstick starter to the antipasti, the primi, secondi, the sides were all fabulous. The one thing that wasn’t up to the standard of the rest was the bread accompanying the clams in wine, but that was the only slight disappointment since everything else was spectacularly good!m
I had the clams in wine to start, followed by the sausage with peppers (fantastic) and then the mortadella and pistachio pizzq.

Ordered takeout and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Ended up waiting almost an hour in the restaurant. The pizzas were cold (even though it’s only a 3-minute walk home), the fish was swimming in oil like canned sardines, and the seafood soup was inedible — it contained what seemed like 3-4 entire heads of garlic. Every spoonful brought up at least 3 large cloves (see photo). Paid $140 for two pizzas, seafood soup, fish dish, and two appetizers. Very disappointing — not worth the wait or the money.

Fancy, cozy, delicious. Took my wife here for our anniversary. The pork chop is delightful and the chicken fantastic. The cocktails are also top notch.
It’s a little pricier, but you’re getting a better meal with better ingredients. I’m my opinion, worth it.

A new favorite in Idyllwild! I made reservations for us earlier in the day for dinner & when we showed up we asked if it was possible to sit outside. We were seated in our own little gazebo/canopy tent. I was really craving pasta so l ordered the spaghetti e polpette and my fiancé got the pollo arrosto.
His meal was so big, I didn’t expect it to be an entire chicken. The flavors on it were so good and he was so happy with it. For my spaghetti, the meatballs were good and melted in your mouth. The only complaint I have is my noodles tasted a bit overcooked but I still enjoyed it. For dessert I really wanted to try their tiramisu, it was so yummy! I’m honestly a sucker for a good dessert.
Throughout our entire meal we were constantly checked on, waters refilled and asked if we were enjoying our food. Everyone was so kind and provided excellent service. We will definitely be back!

This was a lovely little restaurant that’s tucked into the downtown area of Idyllwild, CA. They had a nice Italian menu with a ton of different options to choose from for any person. We decided to order off their happy hour menu which was very reasonably priced and had a nice variety. While I did enjoy the location and food, there was some opportunity with some of the dishes for some deepening with their flavor profiles. Also I didn’t love where we sat on the patio because our view felt minimal and closed in. All in all this is still a great restaurant and I definitely recommend that you try it out if you are in the area.
