The calamari was outstanding perfectly crispy on the outside without being greasy, and tender on the inside. It had a light, well-seasoned batter that let the freshness of the seafood shine through. Too often calamari can be rubbery or overly heavy, but this was cooked just right and easily one of the better versions I’ve had.
The lamb chops appetizer was equally impressive. They were flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with a rich, savory seasoning that complemented the natural taste of the meat. For an appetizer portion, the quality felt more like something you’d expect from a high-end steakhouse than a neighborhood pizza spot.
For the main course we ordered the Diavolo pizza with mild salami. It was delicious great crust, balanced sauce, and high-quality toppings. That said, having tried it before with the spicy salami, I have to admit I prefer the spicier version. The extra kick really elevates the pizza and gives it more personality. The mild salami is good, but the spicy salami brings the Diavolo to life and better matches the bold flavors the pizza is meant to deliver.
Overall, Angelina’s continues to impress with both its appetizers and pizzas. The attention to detail in preparation and flavor really stands out. If you’re debating what to order, don’t skip the calamari or lamb chops and definitely go for the spicy salami on the Diavolo if you like a little heat. Highly recommended
We ordered 3 things. One was good. Two were okay.
The service was not good. The lady who served us probably had a bad day. I literally would get up walk to them to ask for things. They barely wanted to educate us on the menu. Recommendations were off, the pricing was further off because of the recommendations. We were charged like $16 for a substitution.
We were excited since this was in our neighborhood but I don’t think we will be motivated to go there again. The price and the overall experience did not make sense.
I was impressed with the amazingly delicious flavors they offer on there food plates. Especially the spaghetti and meatballs so full of natural flavors.
Definitely I will return many times there menu is a large one.
Let’s talk food. I’m usually not drawn to Italian unless there’s a Caesar salad, and this one completely delivered — perfectly dressed with a generous amount of anchovies and topped with one of the best grilled salmon fillets I’ve ever had. Flaky, flavorful, and done just right.
We started with their pillowy focaccia, which is a must, and then made our way through a spread that had something for everyone. The girls shared a pink sauce pasta with a side of steak (gone in minutes) and a simple butter pasta that hit the spot. My husband built his own pizza — no sausage, but added mushrooms, black truffle, and burrata — and it was outstanding. The crust is ultra-thin, just like in Italy, and when paired with their house chili oil, it’s game over.
If you’re craving classic pesto or a creamy white sauce, this isn’t your spot — but if you’re up for fresh, chef-driven Italian with a twist, Angelina’s is where you want to be.
And the cocktails? While there’s no formal cocktail program, they have some of the best bartenders around. These are the kinds of people who know their spirits, craft with intention, and surprise you with every pour. They’re the ones who introduced me to Monkey 47 and serve one of the best Last Words (yes, with Green Chartreuse!) I’ve ever had.
Then there’s Luca, our incredible server from Tuscany. His warmth and honesty made the night even better. I’m super picky, and he didn’t just recommend dishes — he described exactly what to expect and made sure everything was spot-on. His care elevated the whole experience.
We ended the night on a high note with their cheesecake — rich yet light, with a graham cracker crust and a hint of lemon zest that brought the perfect brightness to each bite.
Angelina’s has officially won us over. Great food, thoughtful service, standout cocktails, and a vibe that keeps pulling you back. We’ll definitely be back soon.
We had lunch here today with a friend. We asked for a little more pasta sauce because the dish was very dry. The manager said they could not give us more sauce and instead said they would bring a different dish.
Without asking for our permission, they took away the food we were still eating and threw it out. Then, without explaining or confirming with us, they brought another spaghetti dish with shrimp and later charged us for it.
As a result, the total bill was much higher than we expected. On top of that, we left an 18% tip, but the final amount ended up being much more than it should have been.
The food was not good, and it is unacceptable to bring additional food without consent, charge customers for it, and then effectively add an excessive tip (close to 30%).
Please be careful when dining here.
