This is our favorite place for a quick lunch! The hot dogs are the BEST! I tried the West Virginia dog today (picture with the coleslaw) and the English language doesn’t have the words to explain how great it is! The coleslaw is absolutely wonderful.
The lady who runs this place is the sweetest and kindest person! Great for some little conversation while she makes your food. 10/10 would recommend!

Stopped here because my husband is a hot dog enthusiast. I saw they had BLT in pictures and figured I’d see if I could order that. The cute little stand seemed empty. Sign said open but I think I failed to see the woman through the glass. I gently knocked because I wanted to ask if they did infact sell BLT’s, but as I began with “I wanted to get a BLT if-” and she immediately cut me off and told me I must be confused, they only sell hot dogs. I felt a little stunned by the sudden defensiveness and caught off guard. I hadn’t gotten to to part where I was trying to ask if the picture had been accurate. When she finished I felt a little frazzled, thinking she misunderstood me or my tone so I said “Sorry, I just saw on google, thats why I-” She again cut me off and said that she didn’t know where I thought I was and she could tell I was getting ready to argue with her. (I was actually trying to apologize for the confusion and explain I wasn’t dumb, I only was trying to ask it Google maps was right.) Very few times in my life have I met some one who came off as so presumptuous and abrasive, but just incase that was just a big misunderstanding and I was coming off aggressively instead of frazzled I am not leaving a mean review. We said thank you and we understood and left. So I am posting this to make sure to clarify, they do only exclusively sell hot dogs. (And thats perfectly ok! Hot dogs are awesome!) Dont ask for any other food, they will be upset if you do. (Sorry to you ma’am if you were having a bad day or if I somehow hurt your feelings or frustrated you. The glare on the windows kept me from seeing you and the windows is a bit high. Husband says you were sitting down when I knocked and he could see you, but I didnt. I’m very sorry if I upset you too)

Ohhh, I ate it so promptly that I didn’t get a picture of it first. I opted for the bigger kobe beef hot dog with chili, mustard, and onion. Nicely done. Fresh roll; best tasting hot dog I can remember having, a little snap to the chili and a choice of four different mustard types. I don’t live in the area, but next time I’m around there, I’ll definitely stop in again.

Here lately I’ve had to get my linch somewhere else, even though I’d much prefer having hotdogs from the dog house. Their hot dogs were superb. I’ve been recommending them to all my friends in the area, some even came from across town after coming once.

Although this restaurant has good hotdogs; it’s not the cleanest. The owner needs to take more time to give this place full day of sanitation. The chili is also too spicy; and is very hard on the stomach therefore; a mild option should be offered. If the owner doesn’t efficiently clean this place and the food preparation surfaces, I won’t come back.

Very cool Hot Dog Shop. Old style look price for food is reasonable Hot Dog shop is under new ownership guy is very friendly nice . Highly recommend this place if anybody is looking for a quick snack or a decent sized meal at a good price.
